- Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear is one of the best 4X4 small size Van. Even though It has Central Differential locker sometimes it's not enough. We wish it could have rear locker from the factory. We also wish Mitsubishi could return this model back on the market.

It needs reintroducing with beam axles front and rear like an old Range Rover!
Good point. There were only a couple of projects with solid axels from Patrol GQ, had been done. Not feasible at all. The problem with this model is that it doesn't have independent frame. The frame is integrated with body (hybrid). Also front part of the frame is very weak spot. My opinion, when they designed this model a lot of work was done to reduce the cost, as a result not solid suspension, but comfortable. The conversion requires a lot of work, welding, bracing/structural reinforcing, steering wheel assembly, etc. After that the rig will not be legal on the road. It's much cheaper to buy a Gladiator or TLC80/70/Patrol. We use our Deli for a long distance expeditions, reliability and comfort are priority. Good comment, though.
What about the older Mitsubishi L300?
