My dad had a dad like this he put him in the dryer at 2 years old and turned it on and started laughing the cruelty kept going after that untill he was ten or eleven and did armed robbery and stole a car then got caught and spent most of his childhood being locked up
@@Kookiepookie2025 and his mom was a cop and she would say oh you can't go to school today you got too many bruises she was part of it too. Well his dad was abused also it's like a chain that needed to be broken it was broken with my dad but he also became an alcoholic and still he pulls his hair out constantly has certain he still affected by it I mean a person that really knowing what love is cuz he wasn't showed the right way of what love really is by his parents so yeah he was affected but God definitely saved him if it wasn't for God he probably be in prison or dead
God, I cried so much during every single episode that was mentioned about how horrible not only Jun's father but also his mother treated him. I know that his brother was trying to protect him but the way he went about it is.. coldhearted.
Let’s not mention he was probably still being hit. You think he would have realized sooner that his dad beat him unconscious, not his brother. But, maybe his child mind needed a reason to feel hate and hurt for his brother.
yeah tbh even after the ending, i dont like his brother. the sudden twist that jun had fake memories was so weird to me. why didnt his brother just tell him the truth? i think maybe their father threatened him but still...
It's so well done. I love it. His father and his mother too were so horrible, the flashbacks were so difficult to watch. I don't understand parents like that who abuse their children. I'm so glad he was exposed. And I'm happy that Jun found real friends who he can rely on. He deserved it so much. And I hope his brother will have a better life and do what he wants to do.
Same it was very hard to watch, i was so glad that they didn't mess up the ending and he found happiness :') Kinda wished to see a bit more of his brother in the end tbh but that's alright, hope he lives happily as well. And thanks ^^
Did you notice that Yeo Jun was wearing different clothes when he was being beaten in flash backs? I watched the show a second time and I noticed the difference. During one beating, he was wearing red. During another, he was wearing green. Was he abused without the brother knowing?
@@wonderwoman7304 no, I didn't noticed! If I remember well, the brother knew at the beginning so after he told his father to let him alone and he sacrificed himself to free his brother from this. He did all his father wanted and had a deal with the father to not hit him anymore.
@@-Charline- Yep. But, his father didn't keep to that deal Jun was just so traumatized that he didn't remember all of the abuse clearly. Also, it was obvious that his father was still hitting him, just not enough to show or when his brother was near. I'm surprise that he didn't connect the clues sooner and realize that the one hitting him now, was the same one hitting him in the past.
I couldn't relate more to yeojun, he's a character that I relate to the most from the whole industry of k-dramas literally why do parents have to give us small actions that we appreciate but then make us forget every good memory we had
The fact that I felt " juns" pain was just it for me. I liked that you could see how frustrated jun was and that you could see his sadness in his eyes it all most made me cry
this fmv is so good !! i felt so bad for yeojun !! his family was so abusive !! even if he was rich he struggled so much !! but finally he found happiness and people who were trustworthy and those who actually cared for him !! 😭❤️
This show really was amazingly well done. You can tell they put so much effort into every little thing from the characters background to making it seem realistic. Only some scenes seemed overdone, but honestly this is the closest and most relatable show I’ve seen in a very long time. I forgot for a second that I went through the same thing growing up and it became a show I could sob to. Yeo Jun is the character I will always relate to the most. It was an absolute work of art.
I think you have to realize that his brother was a kid when he made that decision to abandon him thinking he could be the target of their father’s abuse. He was also messed up and took on the brunt and pressure of being his fathers first son. He basically thought himself of the solution and held it because he had been holding onto it so long.. and as an adult he didn’t realize how wrong it was because he has trauma as well. On a side note. Jihoon. Seeing him from produce 101 wink boy and seeing him do scenes liek these, broke my heart how real he acted. Best of luck to his future projects (i see you weak hero class)
every so often I come back here bec I really loved this drama and this edit is by far my favorite. it's so well done and the song fits soo well! great job!
I don’t like the cruelty of the parents doing to their son as shown in this episode.. At least he didn’t stop schooling.. Striving for his future good life.. Let’s hope the girl could help him in achieving his goal .. Let’s hope too for achieving their dreams to become a better person.. Let’s cross our fingers for them..And even in reality if I may say so..
Just binge-watching your edits lol I didn't even watch half of the dramas you edit, but I enjoy every single fmv, because your editing is absolutely amazing!
I'm just thinking how much of it is literally normal in Asian families Even if there's no physical abuse there's mental abuse most of the time They want you to fulfil and achieve those dreams that they couldn't achieve Become the person that they couldn't Never asking what the child wants They think of you as an investment not as a human, not as their child They only remember what they went through in their childhood, what they did for you never realizing you didn't ask to be born they brought you in this world They should be responsible Not all parents deserve a child
bro the mental and emotional abuse that goes into Asian households is so insane , even the Kdramas that bring awareness about them are hard to watch sometimes
