No song has ever dragged me back from the edge the way this one has, it just always puts a smile on my face and reminds me that, life isnt a tragedy, its a comedy, laugh at it. Also, this is by far the best fan made video I've ever seen, and I was an OG fan waaaaayyyy back then, I even downloaded this video and thought as a dumb little kid that this had to be the official video, it was so incredibly well made that it just had to be the product of a studio. it’s weird coming back to this. it’s been a couple years and im into way heavier stuff now but it still had that effect on me. gerard’s vocals just have a certain quality. idk but it’s comforting
pretty sure I've been coming back to this video may times over for about 10 years. This always makes me feel better. I don't know who you are, but I watch this video whenever I feel nostalgic and it scratches that itch. For many many years now, thank you
So I had this idea for a music video where The End/Dead are merged: MCR would be dressed in the outfits they wore for Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge for the portion of The End, then towards the end (no pun intended) of the song the camera is zoomed up on Gerard and he drops down out of camera view for the final part of the song, then the beginning of Dead starts to play and Gerard comes back up with his Black Parade outfit and makeup with a huge grin on his face, and yells, "YEAAAAH" then the camera does a rough zoom out and shows the entire band performing in their Black Parade Era uniforms. As the video goes on of them just performing the song, when it gets to the guitar solo the shot then shows a circle of people sitting, hands tied behind their backs with bags over their heads. Right when the final note/chord is played of the solo, the bags are ripped off, revealing MCR as the TCFSR Era. When the, "1, 2, 1 2 3 4" part comes, all the Black Parade Era MCR members raise clubs and then, the "LA LA LA LAAA LA" starts playing, with the Black Parade Era MCR beating their own individual selves of the TCFSW Era, with maniacal laughs and grins as they do so. This represents that the TCFSW Era is now, well, "Dead" (pun intended) and that The Black Parade is now the new Era. Just an interesting idea I thought up.
Mcr is seriously the best rock band... I just can't. It's a shame they broke up, but at least they got a good amount of songs in. I seriously love them

When the, "1, 2, 1 2 3 4" part comes, all the Black Parade Era MCR members raise clubs and then, the "LA LA LA LAAA LA" starts playing, with the Black Parade Era MCR beating their own individual selves of the TCFSW Era, with maniacal laughs and grins as they do so.
This represents that the TCFSW Era is now, well, "Dead" (pun intended) and that The Black Parade is now the new Era.
