Nice! But just to be clear, for those who are just starting the home recording adventure... this will only allow you to properly record electric (and acoustic electric) guitars. You cannot use this alone to properly record good quality microphones for vocals etc.
Thanks good information about these NUX pedals. I've had the NUX Optima air for a few months now and it's a great pedal for the money but the manual (s) aren't so good. I've recorded some of my guitars to make my own IRs with limited success. What is very interesting now is diving deeper into the software/s side and find out more how best to use and make it work for me. So the more you can share the better, so thanks again and I'll look forward to seeing more of your videos 😎🎸🎶
I searched many videos but not getting enough information on using DI out. I think if you already have an audio interface, then you directly connect it to record and no need to use cab sims. The recorded sample itself is mic'd version. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Is this a 2 in 2 out interface? Which I/Os are which when label send and return with input and output if so? Looking to include a guitar pedal style interface to my pedalbaord. But I don't send external audio in like guitar or synths.. I resample DAW audio, sending it out to guitar pedals then back in. Wondering if this would cover me on that, I need at least 2 digital channels in and 4 digital channels out, one for monitoring DAW audio, and one for sending stereo image audio out to pedal board.
Thanks for the question. I haven't tried it with those apps, but essentially, both of these pedals are solid audio IO solutions that will work with any app. How it performs with those apps is a whole other matter, but it should work.

Thanks!
Great info some of this NUX gear is good and affordable which is important for home musicians, I think.
Absolutely. After messing around with the audio IO functionality I thought why not share the knowledge? 😉

Can you make video in detail explanation about DI box, why guitar with effect need DI, advantage and disadvantage of DI box, etc..
Good suggestion

I think you might want to look at the MG-30 or MG-400 to get that done. It sounds like you're talking about reamping.
Hey man, excellent video! One question though: will the Optima Air work as an audio interface with amp simulators/VST (Amplitube, Bias FX, etc)?

Any Verdugo pedal? Also Solid Studio? Thanks for this video!
Thanks for watching. It's just the Optima Air and Melvin Lee.
