Shadowheart's character is tied so much to her being a cleric. I would recommend keeping her as such. Wyll is also closely linked to his class.
Shadowheart might be fun with rogue added, maybe one for every 2 cleric ones?
thanks for the company during long days
I feel like he fails his interactions with the animals cause he was just in an intense "human" confrontation and his mind is struck on it. Poor guy.
FYI - When Shadowheart is nearby and you have to roll a check in conversation, look for the bottom button "add" button and she will cast guidance on you in that moment without getting out of it. Will add 1-4 points to the roll.
Ah I missed that from Shadowheart! Thanks!
Amazing how different your playthrough is than mine...I go right when you go left = totally different game...makes it fun to watch.
Talk to Nettie, look around, but, don't steal! Find Halsin and bring him back.
hey hey, love your RP, this game is so much fun
A Hero does what must be done in order to save everyone, even if it may be momentarily wrong (like stealing the idol) 🐻❄
My favorite game of the year and I enjoy your playthrough as well
Thanks so much Party for this Let's Play looking forward to all the episodes. So Entertaining you are and a great teacher :)
That Cow is definitely a druid.
Loving this playthrough so far!
Enjoyed the episode. I think roleplaying each character to be true to themselves is a good idea. I have respecced the sub-classes but kept my companion's original classes.
As far as Wyll the Warlock goes, with respect to Eldritch Invocations, most people take Agonizing Blast because Eldritch is a Warlock cantrip that is quite possibly the best cantrip in the game. And Agonizing Blast adds your CHA modifier to the damage of the spell. As you level, this cantrip gets better and better. As far as other Invocations go, many choose Repelling Blast because that makes Eldritch Blast even more useful. But IMHO the 2nd Invocation should be whatever you want. You chose False Life and the only thing I'll say about that is you can only have extra HP from one source (the tooltip on these type of spells says so at the bottom) so you should probably only have 1 of (False Life, Armor of Agathys, and Fiendish Pact (?) which you get if you pick a Fiend patron). So having multiple +HP spells is not the best use of resources. Unfortunately, Warlocks can only change spells at level up (not at camp or when out of combat like other casters) so if you want to change you will need to level up again to swap out Armor of Agathys. I suggest you put Hex in its' place, as Hex is a great spell!
24:18 wyll getting a little pokey with that blade of his.. ur one tough druid
I wish I was not so late to start binge watching.... Because the fact @partyelite is not click add bonus on conversation to add guidance is killing me inside. But also helps me understand that not having 5e knowledge could hurt some newer players or maybe its a game mechanics issues.. not sure
Don't worry I start using guidance very soon haha. Also switching party members
Loving the series so far. Also love how you're trying to stay in character. I never am able to as after awhile I just pick what looks cool irrespective of what kind of build I started with.
Hi Party, you keep missing the "+ Add Bonus" when you roll skill checks. It looks like you have the option.
Also, uncertain, but you may be able to potentially change your die to the special version. If you click on the little die symbol in the lower left hand corner when a roll option appears.
From a RP perspective of respecing the NPCs - I think that they should very much maintain their starting classes, however I do not necessarily see anything wrong with having them multi-class down the line. Having Wyll pick up levels in fighter or Paladin could be fun (though I'd go at least Warlock 3)
PS - As a Dwarf, battle-axe actually is your thing. You are proficient in it. (Also don't forget to properly re-equip and arm your party. They wont do it themselves)
Perfect video, keep it up!
quick thing, you can use "dip" on other people's weapons, if they themself had their weapons dipped.
Very interesting episode
The plot (of land) thickens... (plot of land...because druids, connection to the land)
Anywho, very interesting episode. Can't wait to watch the next one!
nothing to add- just wanted to say this sort of game isn’t usually my thing, but I’m absolutely loving the playthrough (:
Really appreciate it, thanks for watching! :)
Druids should stick together. Don't rush into it, but Holsten could prove to be a powerful ally.
Don't re-speck... play with what you are dealt.
No
No feedback just don’t stop the series it’s keeping me sane every evening 😅
When I first went to the trader I did not realize that I needed to balance the scales. I ended up just "donating" about 400 gold in items.
I would go and seek the fellow druid. Who knows what the mercenaries from the last episode did to him. We know that they are short tempered.
I vote that you go look for the First Druid.
Thats a clever Ox
Play them as they are for THIS play through :)
You should fight that snake lady. She's no nice. 🗡🗡🗡
please remeber you have a cleric in your party who can cast gidence
Dump Wyll get Gale!
As far as what to do and where to go next, I'm pretty sure if you leave an area and won't be allowed back in you will get a popup. I am ahead of you in the game and I haven't yet encountered any area that I couldn't get back into once I lost it. So I wouldn't let that be a consideration unless it's something you're RP-ing.
Good to know! I definitely need to keep in mind that this is a *C*RPG after all, so I might need to RP a little differently than I do around the table.
Yeah...i havent even started this and the next one is out... That means im out :(
Go to one Capel near by the grove to unlock Gale he is a wizard.
Put Wyll on the camp and switch for Gale he can be very strong!
Lots of folks seem to be showing Baldurs Gate 3, but mostly in co-op. I like your style, but I am not yet convinced that this game is for me.
Go find Halsin. Taking on the entire druid sect, is perhaps too much at this point?
Definitely feels like we need Halsin in our court!
I'm in favor of roleplaying the characters as they were designed. There dialogue seems to be tailored to the class and personalities that the game designers gave them.
Hey, PI, I'm sorry but I have to stop watching....I'm getting drawn in too much. I love how much you're enjoying it as indeed I enjoy your attitude overall. Larian can thank you for another guaranteed purchase.
I feel that BG3 is rather weak versus DragonAge3 in narrative and game feel, despite DA3 being over 6 years old at least. I feel RPG ethics are bogus: teifling kids stealing is chaotic, while goblins protecting their own are mass murdered because no possible peace dialogue exists. So to play a non-violent Monk is impossible. I also have found 5th Edition D20 completely underwhelming to 3.5 and simply unenjoyable because stats really mean very little while dialogue dice mean a great deal. Not worth a 3 year wait.
