Backpack Girl is struggling xD Really love the artstyle and design looking forward to the other 4 girls, animations look a bit floaty sometimes for me but it's not too bad.
Unless I'm mistaken, this seems like its being made by one game developer? If so, say what you will about the game, but you've got to respect the skills and sheer will power to do what 99% of people complaining on twitter won't.
Liking the vibe of this game as well as the colorful and fun artstyle of the female cast. It's also nice to have a 2.5D fighting game on the slower side of things pace wise, just something to have some chill fun with from what I'm noticing so far. Gonna keep my eyes on this game to see how it develops!

I like the character designs and animation, though I think it needs to be sped up a bit. It looks good overall even in an early build, I'll be keeping tabs on this game.
I think it is a good start for cute characters. The game-play seems a little clunky. Also, it would've been more enjoyable to watch with audio. Hopefully, you can get voices and/or music later.

Not sure how this ended up on my feed, but okay. The UI needs some work. And.. is there something wrong with the framerate? The animation is smooth but it somehow looks jittery, like it's not quite even 30FPS (and definitely doesn't look like 60 FPS). Very weird. Looks promising as a fan service-heavy title, I suppose.
Interesting looking game. Character design and animation is *muah*. FTG mechanics-wise, seems quite solid. This looks like a game that I would pay 5$ just to play the demo and spread the word to my friends.
Looks really fun, but it could use a 25% speed boost. You can try it yourself, set the video playback speed to 1.25x speed, and you'll see the game flows so much more smoothly, and looks more responsive. If you do this to the game itself, you would have to increase the window for special inputs and the window for input cancels to compensate for the speed boost though.
A lot of work still needs to be done with this game. I'm assuming this is still in early development because the combat is pretty poor, the characters don't seem to have many attacks and the attacks are pretty uninteresting. Saying that, the most interesting combat seems to come from the weapon wielders, the hand to hand stuff is where it lacks. Keep up the good work!
No idea how I got here but as a member of the FGC I gotta throw my 2 cents in. Everything about this looks great, the animation, the damage ratio, the ui, it looks great. That being said though I would really take a second look at the calculations for hitstop that you have set. At the moment the amount of hitstop with the animation style makes the game seem really slow. I recognize some of the moves (especially the first jump K from the fan girl, I see that mai reference) so I would assume you would want to match a similar pacing of like garou and KOF, shorten the delay of the hit stop and I think you got a banger.
TA급 경력자 아니면 나오기 어렵다 생각했는데 진짜였군요. 엄청 쩌는 이유가 애니메이션, 배경과 인물이 뜨지않고 조화, 이펙트, 광원처리 등이 다 조화롭다는 점이나 기술력인데 이에 대한 언급이 적은게 아쉬울 정도로 굉장해요. 저도 서브컬쳐 게임 만들고싶은데 지향하는 바가 너무 달라서 한국 겜업계 그만두고 프리랜서 상태인데 간만에 개발 욕구가 다시 오르는 멋진 작품 잘 봤습니다. 전 특히 광원처리가 너무 맘에 듭니다.
일단 캐릭터 디자인만 봐도 이 제작자가 엄청난 신사이며 배우신 양반이라는 것을 곧바로 알 수 있다. 돌핀 팬츠와 탄탄한 허벅지의 조합만 봐도 이 분야의 석박사로구나! ※ 캐릭터가 다들 이쁘니 "용호의 권"처럼 대전 캐릭터가 가까이 붙으면 줌 인, 멀어지면 줌 아웃 되는 기능 넣어서 좀 더 박력 있는 감상(?)을 위한 격투가 되었으면 하는 바람.
This games looks super good! I love the art stile, and the gameplay looks fun. But I must say, try to add more mechanics, in the current state, maybe it will be boring to play at long term... Sorry if it sounds as a bad coment, I have hope in your succes, great job!
The art style and the quality of the animation are what I like about this. All the characters actions have a flowing feel of movement to them that I find visually appealing. It's not very fluid when one animation cancels another, but I'm thinking that would be pretty difficult to do. That said, the combat seems pretty basic, you definitely need to add more complexity than is shown here if you want to have a good fighting game. Right now the game appears to be mostly flair and little substance. I'm very interested to see where you go with this. I hope that when it is done, the game can be as fun to play as it is to look at.
I love the character designs, but might I recommend animation work on the attacks, specifically their hold points? Make sure there's a lot of motion before the attack comes out so that it feels like it has impact! For example, the archer with the flute, her bow! She draws it back very quickly, then holds it in place, then releases, but this makes her arrow projectile feel less impactful and powerful! Instead, have her hold her bow forward if you want to have a hold to be easily recognizable, then draw back and shoot all in one motion! In general, try not to have a perfectly still animation, either. Slight shaking or movement always helps. Don't worry, I'm not being overly harsh, I understand this is just a concept build battle test, I just really like the girls' cute design and the idea of these beauties, cute or sexy or elegant or cool, all bringing their own personalities to the table and fighting dramatically!

Especially the "grappler" girl with purple hair and the cozy sweater, she seemed so endearing that I wanted to offer something to give! Looks pretty nice. Animations read pretty well but feel slow and floaty. Attacks and Jumps feel a lot better at 1.2 Speed. Walk, crouch and block feel better at 1.1 Speed. Edit: Font is good but "VS" reads like "US".
Remindes me of the early days of Skullgirls, mostly because of design choices but on a technical level Skullgirls was always my favorite fighting game, of all time. This could have some serious potential. Closely, Keeping my eyes on it 😏

Game looks beautiful, but the block stun and hit stun length seems very long. Almost like time is slowing down when you connect with an attack.

ㅋㅋㅋ 신사과 석박사. 마음에 드네요. 줌인아웃은 초기 구상엔 있었습니다만, 개인적으로 화면 이동이 어지러운 걸 별로 좋아하지 않아서 뺐습니다. (때문에 점프 시 위로 스크롤도 없어요.)

The art style and the quality of the animation are what I like about this. All the characters actions have a flowing feel of movement to them that I find visually appealing. It's not very fluid when one animation cancels another, but I'm thinking that would be pretty difficult to do.
That said, the combat seems pretty basic, you definitely need to add more complexity than is shown here if you want to have a good fighting game. Right now the game appears to be mostly flair and little substance. I'm very interested to see where you go with this. I hope that when it is done, the game can be as fun to play as it is to look at.

This is gonna be game of the year when it comes out
I love the character designs, but might I recommend animation work on the attacks, specifically their hold points? Make sure there's a lot of motion before the attack comes out so that it feels like it has impact! For example, the archer with the flute, her bow! She draws it back very quickly, then holds it in place, then releases, but this makes her arrow projectile feel less impactful and powerful! Instead, have her hold her bow forward if you want to have a hold to be easily recognizable, then draw back and shoot all in one motion! In general, try not to have a perfectly still animation, either. Slight shaking or movement always helps. Don't worry, I'm not being overly harsh, I understand this is just a concept build battle test, I just really like the girls' cute design and the idea of these beauties, cute or sexy or elegant or cool, all bringing their own personalities to the table and fighting dramatically!

@@ix9net Haha, I am an animator, yeah! Sorry if I wrote too much, or if I came across as harsh. I was just excited when I saw the art style of the girls and the idea of a new fighting game to play! Especially the "grappler" girl with purple hair and the cozy sweater, she seemed so endearing that I wanted to offer something to give! Your work that you put in so far shows a lot, and I really hope that you don't burn out or give up, because the project is exciting! (♦w♦)7

Looks pretty nice.
Animations read pretty well but feel slow and floaty.
Attacks and Jumps feel a lot better at 1.2 Speed.
Walk, crouch and block feel better at 1.1 Speed.
Edit: Font is good but "VS" reads like "US".

Remindes me of the early days of Skullgirls, mostly because of design choices but on a technical level Skullgirls was always my favorite fighting game, of all time. This could have some serious potential. Closely, Keeping my eyes on it 😏
