My daughter served in the Peace Corps and lived in Lesotho for 22 months. She returned to the states in early 2020 and had a somewhat difficult readjustment, as she missed Lesotho so much. She was a primary teacher in the beautiful mountain kingdom and she fell in love with the people, the culture and especially the kids. I knew very little about Lesotho until my daughter moved there. Very interesting.. . but I wish you would not be so close to the edge when you're in high places... and all it would have taken would have been one very powerful wind out of nowhere throwing you off balance... my knees and ankles were cringing. ( although I did like T-Rex up there , haha. ) I was also cringing looking at the other vid of the disco party at dawn when I saw you running down that mountain . I'm very serious when I tell you I am not getting a good feeling about you being too close to the edge at high places ... please do be more careful . It was very beautiful in the valley .. lovely waterfalls ... thanks for the lovely views. But I did feel bad for that young man who was trying to touch your equipment.. it was obvious he had some kind of disability but was a gentle soul . I know you did not want your equipment to be damaged but should you ever run into a situation like that again perhaps just chat and be friendly with the person for a few minutes as it could mean all the difference in the world to them... maybe give them some of your snacks or a little bit of money... actually I do believe that if you had shown him footage of the dancing T-Rex ,oh my God, that is so funny ..I think that would have really made him happy for days and days . In Lesotho the South African Rand and the Lesotho currency is equal and interchangeable. It's the same in Swaziland (or eSwatini) and Namibia. (It's also the same is much of the Caribbean with American money.) A disadvantage of that, is when returning to South Africa, one suddenly can't use those other coins and banknotes.

My daughter served in the Peace Corps and lived in Lesotho for 22 months. She returned to the states in early 2020 and had a somewhat difficult readjustment, as she missed Lesotho so much. She was a primary teacher in the beautiful mountain kingdom and she fell in love with the people, the culture and especially the kids. I knew very little about Lesotho until my daughter moved there. I seriously enjoyed your video about this tiny African country! I've only been to the Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town areas of South Africa, but would love to travel to the smaller countries of Lesotho and eSwatini. People don't seem to speak English, but I felt encouraged that the kids are making an effort to learn and speak English!

I was born in Lesotho and spent 2 1/2 yrs in Europe and 45 yrs in California. I just moved back in 2017 and Lesotho has so much potential but it’s Government has to do a better job for its people and investing in the resources so the country can do better

In Lesotho the South African Rand and the Lesotho currency is equal and interchangeable. It's the same in Swaziland (or eSwatini) and Namibia. (It's also the same is much of the Caribbean with American money.)
A disadvantage of that, is when returning to South Africa, one suddenly can't use those other coins and banknotes.
