Cody, I was down at BHR during the week before thanksgiving and on the cold mornings I found a bottleneck canal they were having a feeding frenzy every morning for roughly a 40 minute window. Using a 2.5” jerk bait on a 20 series lews spinner with a 7’ diawa glass medium fast tip rod and wore them out every morning. I am down there every spring and fall from southeast Georgia.
Cody, what an amazing day on the big O. Hope to catch just a few of those nice bass this coming weekend in our tournament. Not sure if this new cold front will mess up the fish as I heard today was rough but in 4-5 days, it should be better ;-)
Agree with the time of the day. My earliest bite has been 8:45 am the past month. That early dark stuff isn’t working for me but I have to beat traffic! 🤷🏻♂️
