- This here is the ***** BEST ***** POSSIBLE ***** MOUNTED ***** video or just in general the ***** BEST ***** video of California Screamin at Disney's California Adventureso enjoy.
This is video where my camera was mounted to the front of the train on California Screamin at Disney's California Adventure. I had done one of these before but it wasn't as good because the last one I didnt get it mounted quick enough and the ride had already started. Also my mount before was just a big so I did have to hold it for the whole ride. Also you heard me say hold this for the ride and people thought I was just holding something the whole ride which seemed like it wasn't mounted....... BLAH BLAH BLAH...... ANYWAYS........
This was done on Febuary 29, 2012 to celebrate One More Disney Day for Leap Year. This is also after the refurb of California Screamin which when they redid the loop its more narrower now and not as round and the forces are much greater then befor as they do not slow you down before the loop or at least they didnt when I went on it.

One reason I think this roller coaster is awesome is because it's fast in the beginning. It builds up my thrill level instead of being anxiously nervous while rolling slowly up the track.

THE MUSIC MAKES ME NERVOUS! When ever I'm on it, I get scared because I don't know when it's going to start so I'm just stuck listening to the music in the background it's intimidating!

Zaferis I understand the sentiment: I had an Annual Pass for several years in a row. In fact, they were Premium level except for the beginning. That all came to an end after August of last year and I haven't been since! Talk about withdrawals!

One of the very best coasters. You accelerate all the way up the first slope. And the ride is like "but wait, there's more!"

Patrick Star the whole California theme made zero sense when it was in California, and the majority of people noticed this and DCA had nothing compared to Disneyland at the time. California Adventure wasn’t even supposed to happen but since they decided to cheap out on us we got the least sensible theme for a park in California.

I never ride roller coasters as I'm absolutely terrified of them. However, I LOVE watching videos of coasters. I know when one is boring or totally 'blah', and I know when one looks like it would be amazing to ride. THIS one looks amazing!
I honestly prefer the California Screamin' name/style over Incredicoaster. Just wish disney didn't feel the need to slap an IP on every single ride in their park

Anyone going there should know this ride is NOT SCARY. I'm horrible on any rides that drops but the drop on this was not steep to the point where I would call myself scared. It took me 5 people to convince me to go on this ride. Would definitely go on this again!

I went for grad night and I chickened out too because I dislike big drops/air time lol but my friends were all pushy but encouraging me to get on this. So I did... And besides the first drop it wasn't that bad! I'm actually glad I went on this now I call awesome ride! Haha

One of my favorite coasters of my socal trip (seaworld, legoland, disneyland/cali adventure, six flags). Yet again, Intamin has made another awesome ride (add that to the list with Bizarro, Millennium Force, and Skyrush).Well made Intamin!
This is by far my favorite ride at disney/CA. I went to both yesterday but couldn't go on this one because I was with my 7 year old niece and older brother, and the line was like 2 hours long XD. I live close to disneyland, and sometimes at night I can hear the fireworks from my room. When I went with my leadership class, they made it 'snow' in southern Cali, by making soap foam fall from the sky. It was great.

I really want this to come back. People need to stop saying “incredicoaster is the same ride, but with a different theme” because it’s not the same ride without that badass soundtrack that fit for going at a speed of 55 mph. Plus, california screamin and paradise pier were california themed unlike incredicoaster and pixar pier which is the point of the park.

Awesome, Awesome ride. I rode it for the first time last year and man, it was done well! It kinda reminded me of the Rockin Rolling Rollercoaster but, you can't beat the outdoors in comparison to being in a building in the dark.
I hate coasters and always am scared that I'm either gonna have a heart attack or puke and I'm 29. This was my first actual coaster and its not scary. Worse part is the take off cause you don't expect to go from zero to 55 or whatever that fast and when you go up the first hill makes ya a little gittery but the rest is fun. The big drop feels like splash mountain which I first went on last year as well and the loop well its just nothing. What stops me from nerves or getting that funny feeling is just yelling out funny stuff during the ride. One last thing, looking at the ride and getting on the ride are two different things. Looks scary but when you sit down at the station it feels like a tiny little fun ride. Again I'm practically 30 and absolutely hate roller coasters and this is prob the one and only real one I'll ever go on s I say try it and if you hate it then at least you can say you did it once lol I'll be back on it again many more times

California Screamin’ from February 8, 2001 to January 8, 2018 almost 17 years
Great ride, went on it for the first time last Saturday.
If u want to go on this ride, make sure u go at sun down. Less ppl, perfect view, and it ain't hot as hell.
The only scary part is the beginning when it goes 80 mph. Nothing else is scary, not even the drop.
Uhhh... Not 80MPH. The top speed of this ride is 55MPH.

Me and my siblings decided next time we go on this ride, we will just scream the entire time. Why? So no one else can hear the audio. Why? NOBODY CARES ABOUT JACK JACK!!!! We’re riding a rollercoaster, the point is NOT TO HAVE A STORY!!! But noOoooOo, the rock music wasn’t enough, we need to add A TON OF DIALOGUE!! AND THE ORCHESTRAL SCORE FOR THE INCREDIBLES!!!!
Look, my point is that even though it’s the same track, we’d like to have a simple theme. Screamin was fine because all you can do on a coaster is- well, scream. There’s nothing else but the sheer thrill. It’s easy as that. So the coaster only asks that you scream- and because it’s Disney, a soundtrack (zany high-energy rock music) and since it’s a big boy coaster- some funny commentary to make the 8 year olds sh*t themselves.
But no, the execs saw a 2:00 long fast-paced launch rollercoaster and decided “HEY, THE INCREDIBLES WOULD TOTALLY FIT!”
Rant was TLDR: a story-based thing doesn’t fit on a rollercoaster. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it and the original ride (while not perfect) fit the California theme just fine whilst still adding some zany magic, bonus points for offering some entertainment for those waiting for their families to finish riding.
Looks like... so much fun! Been ages. Since I've been to an amusement park.

It's so cool, I was there Monday and Tuesday and I got in this 3 times in a row. Some people I went with didn't want their fast pass and I took them.

Probably my favorite roller coaster out there. I haven't been on it since they changed the themeing but I'm sure I'll still love it.

I got on this with my bff yesterday. She was scared to go on but I was really excited. So much more fun than I expected. AWESOME. and just so you know, you can barely feel the loop :)

If there’s one rollercoaster that feels like a good combination of both modern and classic, it’s this one.
I had the speed, it has the loop, it has the time. It was the one ride when I was a kid that I was looking forward to because I wasn’t tall enough the first few times. But when I was tall enough, it was worth the wait :)
A timeless classic that I wish they didn’t change into The Incredibles ride or whatever.

i love the long pauses it had looping while waiting for the train to clear the launch and mid course break run it felt a little redundant but kept you on your toes
Fun fact: ask the worker to take you to the single rider line (if your alone or you don't care about not sitting w your company) and you won't have to wait in the line 😎

if you want more intense rides for a cheaper price I definatly recommend Knotts berry farm. it's only 40 bucks and definatly worth it. and it usually has shorter lines

I rode that 15 years ago. so much fun and cameras never do speed or depth justice you have to be on it to realize how very fast and intense the launch is
