I'm getting ready for 6 weeks backpacking in Montana. I'll be taking the Warhammer, Little Brother and Halftrack, a couple of dry bags and a Super Spike duffel. Last year I went for 4 weeks using only the Halftrack. You are correct, the stuff is bullet proof.

6 weeks would rock lol..!!! What are your thoughts on the Halftrack..? I did consider it but thought the Warhammer offered more for my needs... Still need an inner frame for the Little Brother tho or maybe make my own from ABS sheet I have...

houseoffire72 As I mentioned, I only had the Halftrack last year and it worked out great however I did end up hanging some stuff on the outside. This year I should be able to get everything into the Warhammer and I especially like that I can remove the Little Brother for day hikes and exploring. The Halftrack is well suited to carry my still camera and video equipment as well as my fishing gear. I now think I have the proper tools for the job.

I just ordered this pack but I was wondering why the bottom bar is at a different angle than the ones I’ve been seeing on the videos. I wanted it more straight out for load bearing purposes and so I could just sit it down. Might try to bend it myself lol.

The Great White Its a great pack even with the changes thry made to the frame. I would almost rather have the new design myself but mine is already broke in good:) The thick lumbar pad has been a blessing for me as well as the vertical shoulder adjustment. I honestly cant say enough good about the war hammer and the little brother. Even better when nested together for a long trip. The only down fall I can think of is when stuffed full is how wide it actually becomes but then again it carries well close to the body. Hope you enjoy it and get much use from it. I think you will be as happy as I am with mine.

Great review....one correction though. The fanny pack, it has a purpose built belt inside the pack, the straps you show are the attachment straps.

You caught me up late. I do love options and that system seems to have everything.

I think under 4ft and it would be too small.

Im 5'10"... carrys very well for me:) I thas vertical adjustment on the shoulder harness to better fit your torso length & if you need a larger hip belt one can be ordered with to fit you... its a great pack man I do not resent anything at all about it... with all packs combined it weighs approx 12#

Michael StJohn since this video is about backpacks you can have to tell me which knife you're referring to since I have Smith hundreds in my lifetime just not in the last five years since I had to move my smithy out of where I had it since I lost the lease on the land and haven't found a new place to put one up yet
