That was beautiful Rubeauti. Thank you for taking all that time to let us be there! The Mayor was wonderful, like a father-figure to the cuple. Are you allowed to have civil ceremonies outdoors? Such a beautiful place it seems a shame not to get married in the open! Stay safe and well lovely Rubeauti ❤️😘
15:28 😂. I love when you include how you play around with techniques. I think we’ve all done the “focus and pan to wilderness” technique. It brought me back to the day I was trying to be artistic… but I pan’ed to this lush green yard, but there was dog poop… 🤦♂️😂. I did enjoy your potted plant.😊 Awesome vid! Thank you for bringing us along and introducing us to another side of PI. You’ve brought us to beaches, kick boxing, neighborhoods, nightlife in Manila, day trip to Tagaytay, vacation to Cebu, and a visit home to your province… you’ve tackled controversial topics, real estate, and fitness…. You’ve come a long way from work out vids and that bit of grass where you’d talk to us. My favorite video is where you cloned yourself on the Jeepney (which you just made into a short… very awesome). Just sending some appreciation! Love your videos! Thank you for posting.
I have worked with Filipinos in the past, my first best friend as a navy brat was Filipino ( Henorio) , my love of my life is the most carrying sweet woman ever Filipina. Mad respect for all from those islands of the hardest working, most carrying, never giving up people. Skal Philippines
American here. Got married in a civil ceremony in my wife's city- Butuan City, Mindanao. Nice weeding. Her family was friends with a local Judge and he married us in 2006.
That was absolutely beautiful. Congratulations, and best wishes to Emilio and Trexi. You are a beautiful couple, and I wish you, and your future children the very best. God bless, and thank you Ms. Rubeauti for making this fantastic video
There was a couple and wedding party at the Waterfront Hotel in Lapu Lapu while I was staying there last month for photos. I guess they stayed at the hotel and was expecting to a wedding that day take place but I guess the actual wedding was taking place at a different location. Although I was not a part of it I would have liked to have seen the wedding ceremony.
It was so special, personable, with care and affection, even the mayor - so informal and friendly. Easier to get married than to get a driver's licence. 😀 My best wishes to the newly weds 💒 ❤️ Thank you Rubeauti for this video.
Hi Rubi, Hope that besides making a UA-cam video, you also had fun yourself. Your closing comments are my comment as well. I love watching wedding videos like this, I'll tell you why. As a fairly formidable Chef I have provided the food for some of the most beautiful weddings, I have worked weddings that cost up to 20 Million Dollars (not my take unfortunately but the total cost). I have done weddings of Hollywood movie stars, athletes, sons and daughters of CEO's and Billionaires. When you watch the bride and groom of ANY wedding, I always see the hope and confident expectation that a new, and much exciting chapter of their lives is about to start. This is very heart warming to see, and the point is that whether it's a high budget wedding or a low budget wedding that excitement to embrace the future is the same. And all the guests at a simpler wedding seem to be having just as good of a time. Specially the weddings in The Philippines with all the friendly and fun loving Philippino people. I watched a video by a fellow UA-camr, Tim K, his Philippina wife's sister was getting married. It was the same, a simple but beautiful wedding held in what looked like some civic center. And may such weddings encourage young people (like you Rubi), young people who think that they don't want to be married and worse, don't want children. As I am in my late 50's now, it is very clear that my children are the most important thing that I have and what I treasure the most. I could not imagine a life without them. Chef Paul
Very nice to see a civil wedding Rubeauti. This could very well be in my future with my new Filipina girlfriend. She lives in Zamboanga Del Sur and I'm going to see her in March '23. ❤️
This was a wonderfully touching video - thanks for sharing ... but next time we want to hear you sing ... and here's to "rockin' and rollin' in bed and in life" 😁
@@Rubeauti Haha - I didn't know for sure but thought it probably looked like your signature on the card so I made an educated guess and took a closer look ... I must have too much time on my hands 😂

Weddings are nice but there are so many wonderful women in the philippines who have been separated from their husbands for years and would love to meet someone and move on with their lives. I know divorce is not an option as of yet and annulment is not always guaranteed. Can you do a blog on the subject as it falls in line with this one .
The wedding party looked exactly the same as our daughters in the province did. She got married in a church but the party had exactly the same look and the same elements to it.
I like the way they did this wedding. There is no reason for a huge wedding and going into debt. I am always confused when I hear the use of the word province. Some are very rural with no decent size city close by. Others seem to be in close proximity to the beach and small cities while others are in the mountains and very far from city life. You said your bus went over many mountains and was by the sea. What province was it in. It always confuses me because people live in Cebu City but many live far away and they call it the province.
Nice to see looks similar to my, but i did married in Czechoslovakia 1984 and had to have multiple wedding, because the goverment only approved civil married at that time🙂
@@Rubeauti Yes it was a official civil married first and after an hour later a catholic married and they called it mix because she was catholic and i Protestant.

@@Rubeauti There is an old joke in the USA. "There is only one reason to get married. You are ready to give up sex." The reason this joke came about is because once married many American women are no longer in the mood. In the Philippines the joke does not apply as it is exactly the opposite. That is why many American men would like a Filipina gf, partner or wife. They miss the type of relationship they had when young and not the complacent woman their own age that has let herself go physically and is unappealing and would rather watch TV with 4 cats.

Why do one have to go through all of that just to get married? I'm not religious so I'm not interested in a prayer.
