Now that you mentioned it. Well, I mostly like grown up noisy miners, Tommy. I like them too besides you, but they're not nice birds though. They're bullies.
Thanks for this lovely video my baby minor bird im looking after has fallin asleep to this sound lol I have saved him from a horible storm and didnt know what to feed it soo very helpful and it gets lonely so I play this sound for it ahah kool but ill try not confuse the poor bby bird
The best formula food for them is Wombaroo Lorikeet & Honeyeater Mix. The food was actually tested on this specific species. Otherwise you can chop up fruit (not avocado) and vegies, though you risk feeding pest species instead then. The smartest thing to do would be to plant more flowering natives that have nectar, like varieties of Grevillea, Salvia, Banksias and Correas - thus encouraging a wide variety of native honey eaters.
Noisy miners are honey eaters too and so are wattle birds. Have you seen another Australian bird called a wattle bird before? Because they're honey eaters too as well as normal ones and noisy miners.
I'll say...........I said before that I like them even though they're bullies, so I'm like you what you said just then. By the way, they're not just annoying just like you said, they're also bullies as I said before - because basically they bully other birds to be honest.
Thank you so muchy for sharing this great video! I had oodles of these appear in my garden this morning. I went to my book to find out what they were. Now after watching your video I know that many of them were fledglings. If you dont mind my asking, what food did you put out for them?
I took my cat for a walk in the park today. There were a lot of people there, which resulted in her having a panic attack and crying wanting to leave. A noisy miner bird flew half a metre in front of us and started singing to us. It was so odd, but it calmed my cat down.
That is very peculiar that a noisy miner calmed that cat down of yours because those birds are normally not nice! But at least you said that your cat was having a panic attack from one because noisy miners really are bullies.
I like the sound of those noisy miners that they're making. I actually like them even though they're bullies - and that's because they bully other birds which is not very nice and not appropriate either.
These are the common myna birds of Australia, and should never be classified as an Indian myna bird . The Indian myna bird are a viral and dangerous introduced pest a serious threat to our rare native birds (rosellas and other parrots) whilst the common Australian myna bird is of a different colour - alert, smart native birds and very protective of their chicks and other native birds in their boundaries - they will even challenge Ravens to retreat pretty fast too and at the same time respect the Magpies in their territory.
The chicks make a constant, irritating peep sound, and the adults are bullies. They drive away other bird species from the garden, I will play this sound track very loudly outside to confuse the adults - it does work here in Brisbane. They do have to be culled, though.
What’s the best food for these little fellas? Found a baby one on the ground at the dog park, fell out of the nest. Going to call rspca tomorrow, took him to the vet and they said to call them. Got some worms for him and he loves it, being careful not to over feed.
This is their sound “yip yip yip yip yip yip……. Yip yip…………. Yip”
These birds eyes are gorgeous 😍
I played this on my Bluetooth speaker to confuse the birds outside 😂
How were they confused?
Jake same
Que hermosas aves!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I’m playing this video with them outside it drives me insane how they could be so loud that early
I love baby miners; they're so unbelievably cute.

they keep dying in my garden, it's honesty really depressing seeing their little fluffy bodies still in the rain.
Ikr!
I watch this video ON LOOP because of the incredible quality, and the little miners fall asleep in the end

I pet a Noisy Miner of the back once, he though I was grooming him and he started to follow me, and he liked to be on my shoulder
i tried that and the parents attack me
WoodPlanks Noisy Miners aren’t very tame, I doubt you’d be able to pet one.
Thanks for the beautiful video

I can’t believe this video was uploaded in Halloween 14 years ago
this seems to be the only thing which shuts up the noisy miners outside my balcony. Literally stops them dead!

no variation in the sound, just a monotone annoying blip on repeat for 12 hours. most annoying sound hands down
