0:42, you're lucky there wasn't a bus coming the other way. I'd love to get one of these! I currently ride a PCX150, perfect for inner-city riding and at 2.25l/100km also cheap to run. Twist-and-go is much better than grinding gears on a big road bike, especially in the city.

Great job. Very in detail. Have to ride this one, it seems a great maxi. :) Keep up bro. You got my like. p.s. Will upload my video about this maxi soon.

I have a 2015 iron max you aren't joking about service costs. At last check think I'm at close to$8k in 4.5yrs ownership. I joke with the mechanic it would be cheaper to maintain a H2. Thanks Jeff for reviewing the AK and Tmax.
@@BikeReviewcomau Another thing is it's not just a matter of calling up a week before and booking it in especially with major services. thats one sexy beast. its a shame we dont get the new 2020 Tmax 560 here in the U.S. i do have a 2015 tmax 530. not sure why the new models wont be shipped here.

@@Shaker4x4 maybe because people don't ride motorcycles as a daily rider, they're weekend toys and only in California i believe that Lane Splitting is legal. What's the point of buying a motorcycle to commute if you can't go in between cars

Have the Xmax 300 and get 390km per 10 litres (11Litre tank +2 reserve) easily get 450km if your game. Great bike don't know why they are not more popular. My only gripe is the lack of heated grips Yamaha Shop want $282 and $23 for the wiring harness + fitting. Would be great if the bike comes standard with heated grips. The under seat storage on Xmax300 is bigger and will fit 2 full size helmets + a small bag or 1 helmet and jacket + rain gear. Love it love it love it.
@@tommyakaexpert9960 don't know I only know km to litres, in Australia we have the metric system, I do 50-50 hwy-city and get 370- 390 km per 10 litres. So that works out to be 37-39km per litre avg. Hwy would be higher consumption due to higher revs, sitting at about 5,500-6,000 rpm at 100kmph(60mph). The 300 is working hard at speed due to the small capacity and my heavy weight(100kg) 😁 I use mine just for commuting as hwy is always congested, its great at lane filtering.
@@tommyakaexpert9960 yes was considering the Tmax myself until I looked at the price, one thing to consider is the storage under the seat, xmax has more, but the Tmax has all the bells and whistles, xmax you will need after market heated grips and the factory screen is disappointing at speed. Price sux hugely in AU for what it is. That's only one big reason among many as you stated in your review. There is a lot more one can do with $17,000 than this.

That is a tough question! Here in Australia the AK550 is more equipped than the TMAX and less expensive, faster and overall the pick, however, we understand the TMAX is higher spec overseas. Which country?

I dislike when people say scooters aren't "real bikes" or that they're "nearly" a "real bike". A bike is a bike, regardless if its manual or not.
It’s like they saying an automatic car is not a real car.
That's true
