Congratulations girl! I wish Cloud worked on me but for now I am so freaking in love with Kyse Delizia di Marshmallow. Oh also Sweet Tooth by Sabrina Carpenter is a great marshmallow vanilla chocolate spiced ginger scent. Not niche but I haven't put it down since reviewing it. Also Venom of Love is so sexy. I need to try some of these! Gourmands are my fav for the snow heavy weather I get half of the year. Really like Milk too! I get a lot of sweet and spice almost cinnamon like which no one else seems to get. I need that EBK one! 🥰

Anne! Yaaaaaay to this video! Gourmand is Bae. I have a bunch of these as well. I’ll recommend you try Passeggiata In Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II by Trussardi. It is the most gorgeous hazelnut and conconut infused vanilla. Urrrgh! So darn good.

Viscious cacao from Maison Tahité is just amazing,and one more thing. This is very similar to Vavitus Raised Spirits, but much better, more naturale. Thank you for this video.
I also love Kayali Vanilla. Although my favorite gourmand is Jo Malone’s Blue Agave & Cacao- light cacao and complex fragrance- love it!

Just found your channel and absolutely love your suggestions! I just ordered your recs on Twisted Lily! Have you tried Gentle Fluidity Gold? I have the sample and am obsessed but the sillage is not the greatest on me. Can you suggest something else like it? Or something to mix idly do it will last? It's so so good.
I've never heard of the Maison Tahite brand. Definitely one to seek out and try, especially that Vicious Cacoa - the name alone makes me want to get my nose on it.
Oh yes! I like their concept of creating a line focusing around one note and coming out with different versions of it, so cool

Coffee Break…. I got a decant, and I love the opening! After about ten minutes, all I can smell is a heavy dose of lavender. 😞 Makes me sad, but that’s the nature of fragrance. That’s why I never understood why some people say Silky Woods is “too woody.” Huh? I don’t get that at all. Again, just the nature of fragrance and our noses.

Curious if you’d try Kyse perfumes. Their Delizia de Marshmallow is excellent layered with Commodity Milk. Oui Plus is a delicious s’mores scent. And now, thank you very much, I have Kayali Vanilla 28 coming in the mail-couldn’t resist with the Sephora discount 😁

So, I have tried BR540 several times to see if I like it, and I'm still on the fence about it, but when I tried Trajan, it was an immediate love. I feel like it's smoother, and lasted forever, just from one spray. I think imma have to get it... Along with a bunch of others you have recommended... Oh, my wallet 😭

Oh my gosh, thank you!! In this video I'm using the Loreal Infallible but honestly it's the Dezi Skin line that has made the biggest difference in my skin. I love everything and they have truly been the best products I've ever used 💕

By the way I tried Hattaï from Le Couvent des minimes (french affordable niche perfume brand with really good quality perfumes), it's an ambery gourmand and I loved it. It's a sophisticated chocolate scent, classy but wearable and not loud. I recommend it if you're getting into gourmand and might be a bit scared. Also I really recommend this brand if it's accessible in the US!

Quick question- You mentioned ripening your juice, specifically with Kayali’s Vanilla 28. I’ve always been curious because some people’s bottles seems darken than others… How do you ripen your perfumes? Just let them sit? Or do you do something on purpose to get them to darken more quickly?
Just letting them sit will naturally over time let the vanilla in a perfume get even darker which is what many people talk about with that one in particular.

Now that Note Vanille has been reformulated, can you recommend an alternative that would be more similar to the original formulation?
One new release that I'm super curious about it Zoologists "Cow", I know some say its more green than lactonic, so I don't know how gourmand it actually is.. but I heard one person describe it like hard candies such as jolly ranchers with milk and they said that in a negative way but that made me even more curious because I like those kind of candy/jolly rancher type notes and besides that.. I really love cows. They're so giving... like the giving tree. Also I love milky/creamy notes! I plan on getting a sample!
To me it smells like fancy nougat and fresh cut, dewy grass. The grass doesn’t bother me surprisingly, but I'm not totally on board with the nougat vibe. 😝 It’s good though! Powdery, lightly musky, fresh florals, and I get a fresh green apple in the opening. Definitely interesting

I’m testing commodity milk expressive today. It’s a very good smell but it’s not for me. I think milky stuff doesn’t smell right on me. But who knows it may grow on me.

Of course! I do prefer Herod, but Divine Vanille is fantastic
I ended up with a few kayali travel sizes from the vib sale at sephora. I got vanilla 28, lovefest and invite only amber. I like them all probably vanilla 28 the most but invite only is pretty nice too. I like how they did oud in that fragrance. Barely there just a little in the background. Its an oud where you can only smell it if you know what oud smells like. A person whos not into perfumes would never pick it up. Its kinda dollhead like which is my favorite oud quality.
Anywho great recs Anne. I love me a good gourmand frag. I really want to purchase minuite et demi(i have 1 of my 3, 2ml sample vials left) but its crazy expensive and christmas is right around the corner so i will just have to savor my sample and maybe keep my eyes peeled for deals. Do you know if any of the perfume stockist sites do good black friday deals? Does guerlain ever do one? Lol maybe a silly question.

I don’t think Guerlain has sales on their private line fragrances (probably the others though), but you could check Mercari or Neiman Marcus (around Black Friday)? FDB will have sales on their website from time to time, I would also check around Black Friday (you could also look at Max Aroma for FDB)❤

Disclaimer, I'm still a total fragrance newbie. BUT, for those of you who prefer softer, less synthetic scents, the new Rosie Jane Dulce perfume oil is SO good. It's a warm, smooth, cozy, vanilla, woody, chocolate scent without being really dark or heady.
So glad you mentioned this bc the perfume oil must be better than the EDP then. I just reviewed the EDP actually and I do like the scent, but it doesn't have any projection and smelled a bit body spray ish to me. I'll have to try the oil bc I do like the scent!
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup my husband still noticed it projecting like a slightly stronger skin scent 8 hours after I initially put it on all my pulse points. And he really enjoyed how it smelled yummy and sweet, but also not too juvenile or foody.
Anne, which of these perfumes would you say is safe enough for you to wear a bit lighter during hot summer months?
To be honest, I don't personally think any of them suit the summer months 😅 But the one that leans the most appropriate for then would be Deep N Desire Yacht I'd say

Besides the opening that leans feminine, the rest is unisex I'd say. The mid is the only stage that has a resemblance to Herod. And no need to blind buy! You can purchase a discovery set on their site 🥰

@@Ac-he6eu absolutely! I’ve actually reviewed Orchidee Rouge recently in a PR haul :) The other nice one was Broceliande, vanilla citruses aren’t for me, but objectively it’s good! So Mandorle is a love, Orchidee Rouge and Broceliande are likes, and I didn’t care for the rest of them.

I wish I could like Cloud 2.0. On me, it has a weird lavender medicinal smell, with a saliva dry down. It's smells absolutely nauseating to me. :(

If you like the sound of TF Lost Cherry with warm buttery toasted nuts, you'll like Bodacious. It's a very good fragrance, but I'm not into nutty notes, so I personally prefer Rouge Smoking. So it depends!
Ok whiff of a waffle cone is terrible when you first spray /smell it . The longer it’s on your skin it’s like burnt sugar. Kinda nice but no depth.
