Would you ever consider making a video for people new to niche/indie perfumes, by maybe comparing them to mainstream fragrances or a “if you like this, you should try this” type of thing? I love your recommendations and I’m a little intimidated to try some of the unique niche ones, especially not being able to test them in stores easily.

I know this will look like a rain on your parade. The Diptyque you chose to feature here was one of the worst I smelled. And I purchased another scent from this house. I'm just posting this here to remind anyone who thinks about buying a Diptyque fragrance. Make sure you really test it out before buying. It's very uniquely made.

I've been OBSESSED with your videos! I've been on a niche fragrance binge as of late (not sure why lol) and I've been on the hunt for some of the best fragrances in the market. I already own AnOther 13 and the way you describe it is on. freaking. POINT! Also, not to mention the fact that I love the way you describe the scents of each perfume as I am someone who doesn't really know what each note smells like, so having the perfumes described as an image truly helps in my search for the next perfume splurge! Le labo another 13 wow I love le labo and I love how they try hard to create something good for our health too. Their parfumés are free of parabens, phathalets…. They’re vegan and against animal cruelty. They use essential oils, a lot of natural extracts and some synthetic but non toxic ones. They use so many raw ingredients to the point thé parfum expire in one year and they add the date you bought to be easier to remember the expiration date. Very good quality parfumés and safe for us 🤗 also vanilla sandalwood is very nice too and a great quality. Love them both

Hi Anne! Lamar is an awesome recommendation, dying to try!!! Agree w Mon Guerlain (intense) as a no brainer all year... thought I loved nomade absolu but she didn't work w my chemistry! Gave to Mom. Santal Cardamom is the same family as a sandalwood freshie from Fragonard. Just bought myself Portrayal Woman and Very Cherry Chocolate Rose Patchouli (Meleg) for Mothers Day! (Among others..) Damn good times. Great vid.

Love this video! I think they’ve reformulated rouge malachite because I’ve bought it a couple of months ago and it has poor longevity.. in the skin it lasts about 2 hours and like 4 hours on the clothes 😔😔 it’s beautiful though🤩 I ADORE another 13🥰

I remember loving Eau Duelle! Need to try it again. Dama Bianca will be my spring vanilla-adore it! But rich enough for all year. I have the Nomad edt and I think it’s beautiful. Sadly had to give away the 7 Virtues Santal. Loved ones were not appreciative of it 🙄

loved this, your videos are so well presented and it's a fun balance between your obvious knowledge on fragrances and your winning personality. i'm a capsule fragrance type of person so it's always fun creating the arsenal for the upcoming season. i've had my eye on santal vanille for the fall but i'm stoked to hear it's year-round worthy! how does it compare to vanilla woods though? in my head i feel based off the names they'd be similar enough, no? or is santal vanille less abt the sweetness 😬
thank you so much! ❤️ Santal Vanille and Vanilla Woods are veryy different! Vanilla Woods is basically a feminine, sweet, powdery, vanilla fragrance, where Santal Vanille is overall a unisex, fresh spicy, woody fragrance :)

Deep n Desire Yacht is sooooo good! I just received my full bottle. How does it compare to Poets of Berlin? I loved the Ruby and Vanilla Neroli also. It was #2 on my list out of the ones I sampled.
YESSSS! 😍 They honestly don't compare at all, they're veryy different perfumes!
I definitely agree with you about Vilhelm Parfumerie’s “Poets of Berlin,” it’s perfect for absolutely any time of year and any occasion. I do think that EBK as a company sounds really suss, though, because it’s not normal nor safe nor acceptable that customers have to DM a company just to request to buy their products. And especially at a luxury price point. I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to recommend it to your viewers because the company seems to have questionable ethics and values when it comes to customers support and even just the safety of giving over your credit card info.
I was looking up EBK Perfumes, and the scent house Sucreabeille came up. Clicked on it. May have to try some of these fragrances because they had me at the packaging, names, and scent profiles. 🤔😬

Poets of Berlin is the first perfume you’ve recommended that I can’t stand. I recently hosted a sniff and sip party and out of 6 women not a single one liked it, not even a little bit. Smells like funky grass trying to be covered up with fruit. It’s the kind of smell that would ruin my whole week if I were stuck sitting next to someone who smelled like it.

I tried prada La femme, it is SO good but the performance on my skin is killing me 😫 same with Mon Guerlain that’s why I prefer the intense version ♥️

Would love your thoughts on Nomade Naturelle.
Nomade Naturelle has NOTHING to do with the Nomade range. I’m not a fan of the opening, it smells fake. Idk how to describe it. Maybe a bit plasticky. The dry down is great though. This is similar to Kayali Utopia but not as creamy, and Utopia is a touch more tropical. This is dates, vanilla, sandalwood, and there HAS to be coconut or some sort of tropical floral in here like tiare flower, even though it’s not listed. A bit of a suntan lotion vibe. Overall I think it's really good but could do without the opening. I won't be bringing it into my collection, but I think most people would be fond of it, especially if you love this kind of summery scent profile. :)

I went for a hike today in the mountains & I was stumped for a perfume to wear!! But I knew JUST who to ask!!! Can you recommend something fresh yet woody?! Is that even exists lol , In the summer mountains I’d like to smell like a fairy who lives amongst the woods 🤪
I’d recommend the woody perfumes mentioned in this video as well as Byredo Gypsy Water and Clean Reserve Sueded Oud :) the closest one out of the bunch that would serve fairy vibes would be Gypsy Water I’d say, the others not so much, but would definitely fit a hike in the mountains. I’ll keep you guys posted with any fresh woody perfume loves I discover 🥰

@@AnneLauren umm…that seems really shady… what kind of reputable company requires their customers to DM them on social media just to purchase one of their products (I.e., GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY)? Especially at such an exorbitant price point! They have a website but it doesn’t work, and yet instead of making it convenient and safe for their customers to buy their frags by fixing their website, they’re focusing on gifting their stuff to influencers? I dunno… I’m seeing red flags.

It's considerably different while still holding onto that RNV DNA. A very well done flanker! DNDY is my favorite, yes, but it would de redundant to have both, I hear they are too similar :)
question!! so I have been buying poets of berlin since late 2018 and it's always been dark orange juice I recently got a new bottle probably the 8 or 10 one 😅 and it's liquid is clear! not only is it clear but is WAY LESS FRUITY WAYYY LESSS SWEET MORE GREEN AND WAYYYY LESS PROJECYION!!!!😢 all the bottles previously have been beasts😢😢idk of its because it's popular and not sitting in a ware house as long and not maturing or if it's been reformulated please someone tell me! I'm heartbroken this is my absolute favorite and this clear juice ain't it😢

It’s funny that you mention that because my first impression of the fragrance was quite similar. I would drown myself in it for the first couple months that I had it, and after that for some reason, now it lasts all day on me, it’s one of my most complimented perfumes, and I can smell it honestly all day, don’t get how that works haha
Maybe you are nose blind to the scent. Take a break from it and try it next spring.

I still can’t see what the hype is about rouge malachite, just a basic tuberose. I prefer my way over it, which I bought when it first came out. People should save their money, I’m not buying a tuberose fragrance for $300. I don’t like it tuberose, shockingly my way is the only tuberose I LOVVE.
Idk why but no perfume lasts on my skin and a lot times I can only smell the rubbing alcohol of the fragrance when everyone else smell the fragrance itself. I think I’m broke 😂😂😂😂😂😂
