I finally broke my addiction. Quick sold all my cards yesterday, deleted the game, unsubscribed and blocked all fifa content on social media. After 10 minutes I felt liberated. Being addicted to this game is worse than doing drugs, it's an illness. The last straw for me was my opponent quitting at 2-0 in wl and the game didn't count?! Followed by horrendous gameplay, crazy rebound goals scored by my opponents and it twice happen for the servers to freeze when I was 1v1 with gk. I cannot accept anymore the fact that I paid money for a game which is doing it's best to prevent me from winning. I am so happy I managed to do this after years of addiction. Good luck to all.

Last year two goal leads were an unsafe lead to have, now 3 goal leads are unsafe to have because the game helps your opponent tie it! Legit can’t just tiki taka once up 3-0 because some you’re passing and all of a sudden you pass it to their guy who’s alone in on goal. Ridiculous
It happened now while I was trying to qualify for WL, I was 3 goals ahead. I just couldn't pass the ball anymore, all my players were slow. I lost the match 5-4. I uninstalled the game right after
Every year its getting worse. This year its the Biggest delay year we ever got. 90% of the games its just clunky sluggish gameplay. You cant attack, you cant defend, YOU CANT EVEN PASS! SO WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING THEN? why player with 95 Agility and 95 pace plays like a truck? Am i playing a truck simulator or a football simulator? Biggest problem was, is and will be the fact that playing fifa or ea fc on 7 pm feels like your team is in the mud and playing at 2 am your team is flying. They can create patches which the EA devs create and test on a separate hotfix or acceptance environment (sorry for talking ICT languague here), but this isn't representative at the circumstances 90% of players experience every evening after work or school.
No it isn’t. The biggest problem is the amount of rebounds, tackles and interceptions that go back to the attacking team. Defenders intercepting a pass and having that pause animation while a striker barges into them for a clean breakaway. By far that’s the biggest problem.

Bro i kid you not, sometimes i'm playing a game and when i flick the left stick i'm certain i can hear the sound effect of when you navigate a menu, meaning it can be loading totally unnecessary things which makes the optimization terrible. As for inconsistent gameplay, i'm convinced the 'match setup options' gets changed unintentionally or intentionally at different times (e.g game speed being set to slow, or acceleration slider to 40 instead of 50 etc..). So many random small undetected bugs that have created a huge mess over time when combined

The rush only evos are so annoying. I either have my teammates disconnect, go afk or they miss every chance in front of goal. The idea of the game mode is great but it’s executed so poorly.
Why are people who go AFK all the time not banned, or give us an inside game report button. So if somebody gets a lot of reports they can invenstigate the person and start with a warnng.
Or go defenders and don’t defend. Jump in Rush, see an evo Mandy or Gomez on my team. They try to attack, don’t attack well, we get scored on, 4-0 in the first minute. They give up, and defenders go AFK on the edge of the pitch afk but don’t disconnect. 4 vs 3.
Just uninstalled it a couple of hours ago and its like a breath of mountain air.after spending half of my salary on pack and shit. Never again. Its not a game like it used to be. Now its for adults to abuse same players, same plays every match. Hope we can do better

i would actually start complaining about their "product management team" over their "dev team". devs don't have autonomy, they do what their told. i think you'd sound a little more in touch complaining about EA/FCs product management group, since they determine what features to work on and bugs to fix, and then prioritize them :)

I'm on PC and this game still doesn't feel rewarding to play. Tackling system and attacking AI runs are the biggest issues for me, 70% of goals I score/concede makes no sense. I really really don't understand why my attackers RUN BACK when there's an open space right in front of them. Zero footballer in the world makes those movements.
i am known as Korean Inception cause I have been talking about this for 5 years of streaming FIFA contents. And I hope you can read this and reply. I am a PC user since 2013 and this year I have tried everything possible to make game feels better and finally i did it. well I thought i did it because i can finally run fast enough to catch and defenders not catching me anymore, however that gameplay is gone right after recent patch and when i play against pc and console users i can feel they are way fater than me in every single way and maybe cause I live in Canada with no Server and people who is enjoying playin this game is basically living in FIFA server Boundrry with under 10 ms ping. That is my finally decision. If you are not living in EA server boundary , your Ai your players will move like 50 rated bronze card and opponent who has better server will destroy you. What do you think? hope to hear your thoughts.
I don’t think it’s just connection related when it comes to delay. I have fiber at my home and my connection is always good 10-12 ping. What I notice is the DDA or difficulty multiplier. All my players slow down just like when I play a high difficulty team in Squads.
You literally can't dribble.. All you can do is run into space. Not one time are you able to dribble straight through someone. It's like a brick wall. Nutmegs are a bit part in dribbling through someone irl and that's none existant. Dropping the shoulder running straight through some is also not there. Dribbling is just running away...
All of you are complaining, the only place these problems occur is Ultimate teams. Just play seasons and stop supporting EAS bullshit and self centeredness on the ultimate teams game mode... They genuinely f up ultimate teams. It is also a monetized game mode. The game runs so much better when you play seasons.
I work nights, so I probably get better gameplay at a higher percentage because I will frequently play in the early morning hours (midnight to 4am). Even with good gameplay on console, this game is a chore to play. I am addicted to competing and no longer play real-life sports due to injury. This game is my competitive outlet, and it is frustrating how uncompetitive this game has become.

I tried PC for the 10 day trial, wow. I can actually go thrue the menus without button delay. If it wasnt for fps drops i would switch There is no other game on ps5 that feels this sluggish in menus. Even Fifa 98 didnt have button delay in the MENUS...
You dont have to spend 1k+ on a PC build. An RTX 4060 which costs £250 here in the UK, and pair with a 5600 cpu and you can make a PC build for £600/£650 which more than enough to play FIFA and other competitive games on PC. Plus you have access to DLSS which is a gamechaning feature.

This is by design. We're at the point that companies are more focused on engagement then gameplay. Interactions with their AI is paramount, I believe it's even over profits.
For those lucky enough to play on PC, switching to 144hz and no limit ro fps made a massive difference for me. I made this change earlier in the cycle but for some reason it reset, so worth checking
Pc is still the same, passes between defenders always go to your opponent, always lucky deflection goals for you and for your opponent. The game is broken per design its not a performance issues
Yo @Inception FC - You probably won't read this, but if anyone stumbles upon this. Enabling QoS on your router makes a hell of a difference. It schedules your upload speed and packages, which makes the game SUPER responsive. I struggled with slow and sluggish gameplay for years until I figured this out.
just deleted fc 25 after playing for just over 30 days. I like games where I can progress and learn new gameplay but in fc 25 I feel like I can't progress my gameplay at all. it's how Fifa has always been. I've always been the best player amongst my mates which was fun, but now there's no point in playing Fifa on my own. I much prefer games like rocket league and overwatch now
We need more videos like this talking about the real problems of the game. Last year I stopped playing fc24 in December because of the gameplay of absurd pressure and goals that you could only score on the back line and passed backwards. This year I don't think it's even in December I'm going to get there, the delay is disastrous and I still haven't enjoyed a single game so far in FC25. I played Fifa 23 until September, I played rivals simply for the enjoyment of the game, I was able to play and play without problems (and I had its fifa23 problems) but nothing to do with the latter. You can't play it, much less have fun, which is what a video game is supposed to be about.

Played against a PC hacker that made every player on the pitch have 99 attributes, and some sort of super speed. But, what was weird was that there was ZERO delay in that game. It was ultra responsive. The left stick dribbling was crazy fast. Earlier in my gameplay session, the gameplay was trash and slow all day. Not sure how the hacker made it that way, but the game felt nice. Soooooo, there’s gotta be a way for the game to feel responsive if a cheat can alter the game that way.

Played every FIFA since 94. Only play Rivals. Couple of weeks ago I was flying winning 70% of my games. Post patch down to 10-20% Fastest they’ve ever killed it. And it was hardly great before. Inception spot on with everything here

The rush only evos are so annoying. I either have my teammates disconnect, go afk or they miss every chance in front of goal. The idea of the game mode is great but it’s executed so poorly.
Why are people who go AFK all the time not banned, or give us an inside game report button. So if somebody gets a lot of reports they can invenstigate the person and start with a warnng.
Or go defenders and don’t defend.
Jump in Rush, see an evo Mandy or Gomez on my team. They try to attack, don’t attack well, we get scored on, 4-0 in the first minute. They give up, and defenders go AFK on the edge of the pitch afk but don’t disconnect. 4 vs 3.

Despite all the issues the game has the one standout issue that makes it hard to play is auto-offside trap. 4 players moving simultaneously as if they share a brain with the AI the way it already is.......just disgusting
i would actually start complaining about their "product management team" over their "dev team". devs don't have autonomy, they do what their told. i think you'd sound a little more in touch complaining about EA/FCs product management group, since they determine what features to work on and bugs to fix, and then prioritize them :)

I'm on PC and this game still doesn't feel rewarding to play. Tackling system and attacking AI runs are the biggest issues for me, 70% of goals I score/concede makes no sense. I really really don't understand why my attackers RUN BACK when there's an open space right in front of them. Zero footballer in the world makes those movements.

i am known as Korean Inception cause I have been talking about this for 5 years of streaming FIFA contents. And I hope you can read this and reply. I am a PC user since 2013 and this year I have tried everything possible to make game feels better and finally i did it. well I thought i did it because i can finally run fast enough to catch and defenders not catching me anymore, however that gameplay is gone right after recent patch and when i play against pc and console users i can feel they are way fater than me in every single way and maybe cause I live in Canada with no Server and people who is enjoying playin this game is basically living in FIFA server Boundrry with under 10 ms ping. That is my finally decision.
If you are not living in EA server boundary , your Ai your players will move like 50 rated bronze card and opponent who has better server will destroy you. What do you think? hope to hear your thoughts.
I don’t think it’s just connection related when it comes to delay. I have fiber at my home and my connection is always good 10-12 ping. What I notice is the DDA or difficulty multiplier. All my players slow down just like when I play a high difficulty team in Squads.
I have 6ms ping and it's still horrendous during peak hours it's impossible to play.

You literally can't dribble.. All you can do is run into space. Not one time are you able to dribble straight through someone. It's like a brick wall. Nutmegs are a bit part in dribbling through someone irl and that's none existant. Dropping the shoulder running straight through some is also not there. Dribbling is just running away...
All of you are complaining, the only place these problems occur is Ultimate teams. Just play seasons and stop supporting EAS bullshit and self centeredness on the ultimate teams game mode... They genuinely f up ultimate teams. It is also a monetized game mode. The game runs so much better when you play seasons.
I work nights, so I probably get better gameplay at a higher percentage because I will frequently play in the early morning hours (midnight to 4am). Even with good gameplay on console, this game is a chore to play. I am addicted to competing and no longer play real-life sports due to injury. This game is my competitive outlet, and it is frustrating how uncompetitive this game has become.

You dont have to spend 1k+ on a PC build. An RTX 4060 which costs £250 here in the UK, and pair with a 5600 cpu and you can make a PC build for £600/£650 which more than enough to play FIFA and other competitive games on PC. Plus you have access to DLSS which is a gamechaning feature.

This is by design. We're at the point that companies are more focused on engagement then gameplay. Interactions with their AI is paramount, I believe it's even over profits.
For those lucky enough to play on PC, switching to 144hz and no limit ro fps made a massive difference for me. I made this change earlier in the cycle but for some reason it reset, so worth checking
Pc is still the same, passes between defenders always go to your opponent, always lucky deflection goals for you and for your opponent. The game is broken per design its not a performance issues
Yo @Inception FC - You probably won't read this, but if anyone stumbles upon this. Enabling QoS on your router makes a hell of a difference. It schedules your upload speed and packages, which makes the game SUPER responsive. I struggled with slow and sluggish gameplay for years until I figured this out.
just deleted fc 25 after playing for just over 30 days. I like games where I can progress and learn new gameplay but in fc 25 I feel like I can't progress my gameplay at all. it's how Fifa has always been. I've always been the best player amongst my mates which was fun, but now there's no point in playing Fifa on my own. I much prefer games like rocket league and overwatch now
We need more videos like this talking about the real problems of the game. Last year I stopped playing fc24 in December because of the gameplay of absurd pressure and goals that you could only score on the back line and passed backwards. This year I don't think it's even in December I'm going to get there, the delay is disastrous and I still haven't enjoyed a single game so far in FC25. I played Fifa 23 until September, I played rivals simply for the enjoyment of the game, I was able to play and play without problems (and I had its fifa23 problems) but nothing to do with the latter. You can't play it, much less have fun, which is what a video game is supposed to be about.
Nothing will change as long as EA has the monopoly on the football game market.

I had 17 wins last year twice, this year I am getting 7-9 every week. Last year actually felt somewhat playable still but this year feels like torture.

Played against a PC hacker that made every player on the pitch have 99 attributes, and some sort of super speed. But, what was weird was that there was ZERO delay in that game. It was ultra responsive. The left stick dribbling was crazy fast. Earlier in my gameplay session, the gameplay was trash and slow all day. Not sure how the hacker made it that way, but the game felt nice.
Soooooo, there’s gotta be a way for the game to feel responsive if a cheat can alter the game that way.

Only play Rivals. Couple of weeks ago I was flying winning 70% of my games. Post patch down to 10-20%

i cant only assume, the perfect game that we all dream of, must be impossible to make with an 11v11 soccer game. however, the game before the first patch was great, all they had to do was ban 5ATB, thats all
