Bought the pattern and working on it now!! Love your tutorials, this is the second pattern of yours I'm making and I have a third in the wings! Thank you so much for making sewing approachable ❤️
Watching from Paris here during la grève générale and happy that you can accompany me while I cannot leave my house :) I'm gonna try this out soon when I'll have public transport to get my fabric
Haha la grève nat!! Honored to keep you company all the while :)! Would love to see the result when it's done >> IG? Thanks for the lovely attention (=the comment) 😘
Not Gonna lie Im plus size so as excited as I was for a free pattern I'm 100% cool with paying for it if I dont have to figure out the extra sizing steps so thank you for this I love this!
Ach me so dumb! I hadn't paid good attention to which video you commented under! This pattern is available in other sizes so you should be able to find yours (description box) unless you already bought it :)
Hi Francesca! I guess we chatted a bit on IG earlier :). For XS the collar is 31 cm long (seam allowance not included). It doesn't exactly answer the question but I can't measure the neck hole correctly from Illustrator since it's all curvy. You'll have to download the file (XS is free!). Kiss!
@@lorafey What do you mean, are you also working on making something new to you happen?? Or... could be an everyday thing as well actually.... just becoming who you wanna be... tell me
@@isainstitches I can relate to the part of buying expensive things in hope that I'll use them to produce something (nice). This went well for my serger and went (horribly) wrong for my graphics tablet. :D
Can I use another fabric, that’s a little more stiff? I’m trying to make a bodysuit for a dress I’m wearing and the only fabric that matches colour is some georgette fabric
You'll need elastan/lycra, or the fabric will be loose around you, (if it's even gonna be stretchy enough for you to the able to wear the garment - there is some negative ease in it)
by the way since im already watching your video for the 4th time... im trying to make a full bodysuit but im having a really hard time to find the right pattern and to be honest my own patterns never come out right. do you have any tips?
Is my bodysuit pattern fitting? If so then my next pattern could be merged with the bodysuit for a full body one. You'll have to add some opening to insert yourself in the garment (unless you design the neck large enough), maybe a zip, scuba diving style, in the back. I was hoping that I'd have time this week to finally finish my new vid but I just saw that my boss put me full time at the restaurant this week so I don't know anymore 😬
@@isainstitches I printed out but didn't have the chance to try it yet cause I ran out of fabric. I'm still learning things. By the way if you need any help with the editing I can help you out sis. My ig is @pvatsug
In this video I use an old Pfaff 20 years old + but it doesn't work well anymore, it's out of tune. So I use my mom's machine, an even older Toyota on which I can't even pick the stitch length or width. Are you looking into purchasing a new machine?
Hi there! I'm understanding you'd like the pattern in smaller, for a 9 year old little person... I'm sorry, I don't have it in smaller than XS! And I don't know yet how to grade patterns (might be learning soon though!). Good luck!!
@@isainstitches when you were showing your sketches of the bodysuit there were different variations and I wanted to know if there was a pattern for the sketch that was in the top left of the page
Interesting comment! Maybe? Indeed moist has sexual connotations. It's also a word often used for cakes! As I like cake I've noticed haha! I'd say many cultures are uncomfortable with sexuality, and it shows in the language. Now within a culture, some groups might have overcome / reinforced the taboo... maybe lesbians have overcome it or parts of it? Glory to them!
Omg you are the cutest! I googled turtleneck pattern, found your video and I'm hooked! You have such a great personality ❤
That sounded so honest and kind it kinda made me pleased and shy at the same time! Thank you, so glad you're here ☺

Do you think this pattern would be possible for a novice sewer?

Okay to use 100% cotton jersey for this?
