Ok…so tell us, how many other cars from today will pull 1 g on the skid pad? The Vette has been doing it since 1984. It was a phenomenal handling car then, and still is today. The C4 would smoke most modern cars on a road course. The fact it’s over 30 years old is meaningless.
I have a mint all documented 40k miles 1964 Sting Ray 327 / 365hp L76 motor close ratio Muncie 4 speed. Wifey has a 95 convertible with rare hard top option from factory, 32k miles. I have a 96 coupe with the Z51 handling package. 22k miles. Love the C4s drivability love cruising to all the weekend car shows here on the South Carolina Coast. We love Vettes and classic cars. Wifey also has a 63 T Bird all original 65k miles. Good luck with your new ride...
Thanks for posting this! I'm looking to get a C4 Corvette this spring. I'm actually looking at a blue one just like this right now. The paint gives it a surprisingly moderning look similar to Ford Lighting Blue on the Mustangs.
Great video and great looking Vette w/ the upgrades. Thanks for bringing up the caution about closing the doors when closing the hood, I only wish that the previous owners did that before I bought my '93.
Hi, being as though you have experience with both cars, I have a question for you. How would you rate the cabin noise on the C4 Corvette's and 4th Gen Trans ams, both between each other, and also in comparison to other ordinary vehicles? Reason I ask is I'm shopping for one of these, but I'm quite sensitive to highway noise (it drives me nuts) so I'm curious as to how these cars perform in that regard. Thanks.
I was totally tripped out, the exterior looks like its from the mid to late 90s, but the interior looks like a 80s type deal😂 even the black strip down the middle of the side of the car isnt there. Very unique car
I nearly broke my neck this summer: hit a dip in the highway, didn’t see it coming and smacked my head on the targa top glass. Man, I thought I was lucky to to be knocked unconscious or to have snapped my neck. Still my favourite car. I have to update the sound system…last owner did something strange and it sounds awful. Oh well…

thanks for posting enjoy your corvette
thanks for watching! I am anxiously awaiting getting it back on the road this spring. Winter can end any day now!
One interesting quirk - can haul multiple cases of Faygo and Vernor’s across state lines quite well!
these are true facts
I was thinking of selling my 02 Mustang GT this spring and buying a C4. Never owned a Corvette so looking forward to it. Thanks for the video
Im a new c4 owner as well. I like it a lot. Very unique car
Another cool feature of the c4 is the wiper controls is on the drivers door
yep! I had never seen that on another car until I bought this one and drove it in the rain lol. Took me a minute to find them

sounds like a nice collection you guys have. Thanks for watching! The car should be coming out of winter storage in the next few weeks
Love the color! Nice ride.
thanks, Aidan!
If the HORN fuse ever blows, its a 45min job to change it out.
Its located in an auxilliary fuse block behind the warning light/switch panel.
very interesting. I just took that all apart to do a steering wheel swap and a new turn signal flasher to accomodate my new LED turn signals.
Nice car. A true 80's icon. Love the digital dash.
I have a 91 in the same colour. Overall, best car I've owned. Fun factor 10.
nice!

thanks for watching. the medium blue is very cool. Especially in the sun. I hope you enjoy yours!

Lovely car. The E-Type Jaguar had a similar big clam-type hood and several modern Volvos have transverse rear reinforced plastic mono-leaf springs.
thanks! Lots of older FWD GM cars also had transverse mono leafs in the rear. Kind of a cool setup
That's a very nice example C4 Corvette. I really like the black and blue color combination, you really don't see that combo often.
thanks. The color combo was one of the main things that sold me on it
I want one so badly
Then get one. I am.
I like the idea of the hidden gas cap in the center, but I've always wondered if gas will drip on the paint. That would be my biggest concern.
yeah its always a game of being really careful to let it drip as much as possible before moving the pump nozzle. I get nervous about it too
That’s a 91 to 96 rear end somebody changed it out
i am well aware

@@SaltMakerE c4s are louder inside than 4th gens. Both are significantly louder inside than regular cars

yeah it really seems to throw people off
Previous owner swapped in a 1991 rear bumper cover on a 1986-89 car.

I bought a small battery operated ratchet and use that to remove and replace the targa tops. Don’t use the hand ratchet. This much faster and easier.
I like the '93-'96.
Nice car. That’s a ratchet, not a wrench.
