Thank you Lele :) yes it's not the easiest but it's interesting to see how it's turning out and I like the way it sits so it's well worth it :) hope you are well and thank you for stopping by
It's looking great & not even finished yet. Can't wait to see the completed item, Jeanette. It's been in the back of my mind to do one of these & now I feel inspired. I grab doilies whenever I spot them. Off to watch Part III TFS
oh my goodness, i admire this so much. this project would be my worst nightmare, i struggle sewing on a button. Your book is looking amazing, i bet the different fabrics and textures feel great
Yes it may look a little complicated but it's actually come together very easily :) I'll try a different method with my next one, thanks so much for watching :)
Thank you so much for your clear advice. I am working on my first lace journal, cover first and was wondering just how I was going to attach the pages. I am thinking your way is the best way. I have made paper journals using that same method and it has worked out marvelous and I think the fabric will do just as well. Thank you so so much for this inspirational video.
ScrappinHappyxo, love your gorgeous fabric journal, also love your vintage Godey ladies pictures wow, pls show when finished with the front. thank you so much for sharing!!!! olivia :)
Oh thank you so much!!! Seriously brilliant to do the concertina binding method. I was trying to figure out how I would ultimately be binding my fabric book this year, and that solves my dilemma. Thank you so much for sharing your talents!
Thank you Hazel :) I've had more time to craft this week with hubby being away, I received a gorgeous Easter card from you today too, thank you so so much, it was a lovely surprise :)
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous sweetie I just knew the hidden hinge idea was brilliant. I'd love to give it try so thank you for the inspiration. Hugs Bonnie
I would do it all by hand. Do you think that would work? I have hand quilted for 34 years plus... So I naturally head in that direction. I can hardly wait to see it finished.
Yes most definitely, I always used to sew everything myself and felt like I was cheating when I glued anything, haha ;) Now I use a combination of both and have found a happy compromise. Thank you so much for watching
Olivia thank you so much for stopping by and commenting :) I will definitely show the finished book, tfw :)
