Selling hats was definitely a very tough challenge. They have extremely high profit margins, but take a while to sell. You did really well in a week for sure 🙏
You should compare with selling on an acct with positive feedback. I bet sales would improve. As a frequent buyer, I have to REALLY want an item and can't find it at all elsewhere for less than twice the price before I'd buy from a "0" account.
You need a friend that is a hat appraiser. Get them appraised for $5000 each, donate all of them. Don't pay taxes that year. This is what the wealthy do with art.
The wealthy also steal labor value from workers. All they have was created by us. They are welfare queens and capitalism makes them our kings and queens.
i hate when people say u made money selling things but didn't state how much u paid in the beginning u didn't make 40 from selling 40 worth of hats it's prolly far far less
It’s just Hats, got like 10 boxes of Nike and Jordan hats from liquidation. Barely sold any on eBay and I have like a 500+ sales. Listed them for the low too ebay isn’t that great unless your selling some hype fitted hats. Mercari worked better for me.
idk if your even gunna see this man, but that’s a lot of money for 1 week worth of your time. simply just doing whatever it is your doing selling online or going to the side of the street it’s still profit in your wallet, and within months you’ll be bringing home thousands of dollars in a week! keep your head high and don’t fall short from the moon, always persevere ✊

I was at a rural thrift store and they had this giant tub of ties. I looked through them and many of them were vintage made in America silk ties. I decided to ask how much they wanted for all and they sold me the whole bundle for $10. It’s almost 200 ties 3 months later I have sold 2 of them. And they are priced very cheap since I only have pennies in them. I can’t move them. I’m not sore about it. I made my $10 back on the 2 I sold. It’s was just a failed endeavor lol
How much did you pay for them? I feel like USED hats are something the majority of people would rather avoid, so i cant imagine them selling for $10, if you could make profit off $5 plus shipping then i feel like they would sell much quicker.
Not a lot with just the hats, but this was just a fun challenge. I sell more profitable items as a primary income source. Plenty of people make plenty of money selling on eBay. This hat challenge though was not to display a full-time income, but more of an easy side hustle.
@@sippywyatt Wow really? I find it to be so easy and quick selling. I kinda feel that way about ebay I'm slowly listing on ebay. I sell so much and quick on Poshmark.
I don’t mean to sound rude so please forgive me if I give any impression. Now I think the better idea and video to boot would be if you set up at a second hand store and passed out free head gear to anyone who looks in need or set it up so if someone wants to toss you a couple bucks per hat you go and give a homeless a hat, I dunno but I would of liked or subbed if it was different.meaning you didn’t get either from me but I ain’t hating maybe next time you will get me.
Lol that’s a great idea for a UA-cam channel that does that kind of thing. I run a reselling business and this is how I provide for my family. So yes, that’s a great idea, but not something that I am able to do.
Okay but $400 was collected eBay definitely took a cut I assume it wasn't local pickup there was shipping so that took a cut what was the actual profit at the end I'd be curious I bet it's somewhere around 1:50

You're either trolling or extremely stupid. No such thing as hat appraiser and IRS will not take his donation claim for hats

You can try to sell them at a vintage/thrift store if there's one nearby
He'd make pennies compared to retail, maybe a dollar a hat lol
EBay’s suspended 2 of my brothers accounts for no reason. Very unreliable income source
He should stop selling crack
There's always a reason. You can always call or email them and they'll tell you why.
Reminds me of when my grandpa bought a bunch of nice white hats and we sold them outside like a stand
Used hats probably won’t move well
I heard there’s a market for used underwear though
Haha.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nice thing about hats are that they are non-perishable. Even if it takes a while, you can sell them all.
Truth!

$400 extra bucks from a side hustle is actually good. Especially for the week.
For sure. And these were just the hats. I have 300-400 other items listed at all times and sell stuff daily.

About $1-$1.50 each.

About $150. So yes, a lot of profit actually.

Always. Check my eBay store. ebay.us/V5yQFE
Just curious is this is your side hustle or if you are reporting all of these profits over 2,000?
It’s my primary income. I report taxes. In fact, my wife is a bookkeeper… so we don’t play around with not paying taxes.😂
I have sold 3 hats in over 6 months. One for $2 and one for $5 other for $7 so.....yeah I don't like selling hats
Not sure what to say lol. I sell them frequently. Unlist, relist, change your prices, update photos.
