      @@GabrielFoshee. … you reply to someone’s comment after 6 years to say some false. Blues is usually a slow and much more melodic with intricate jazz harmonies. This is rock n roll, by the Killer himself, the king of rock n roll: Jerry Lee Lewis. This style includes no swing, repetition, much more energy, and bashing. A classic loved style of music that won’t die unlike blues that is no longer popular but got implemented into many other styles like rock, country, metal just to name a few.

    OK, for those who think he's "Crazy", you might want to look up a guy named Jerry Lee Lewis. Jerry Lee's style is exactly what this guy is emulating, and it's the only way Boogie Woogie piano should be played. This guy nails everything perfectly. Absolutely awesome.

    • @Rydeman2
      @Rydeman2 10 років тому +4

      This guy definitely is good and amazing, but he is a little sloppy. Jerry lee does get nuts with his dancing and head bobbing and things like that, but his playing and timing is spot on. This guy speeds up and slows down speeds up then slows down. When he is getting crazy and pulling his hand high up and hitting the notes crazily you can listen and tell he hits multiple notes that are wrong and it blurs the sound and some notes sound off and sloppy. If he would just tighten up the screws a little, he could be a whole lot better, if he can get any more awesome.

    • @MichaelWellsMW

      Yeah, but he's not some weirdo like some people were implying. And he's much better than I could be. 😀

      I think I may have used an expression that is just used where I live, but you misinterpreted it. I said he's "Crazy", meaning I was amazed by how good he was. Like sometimes people say wow that catch he made was insane! for example. Sorry Michael didn't mean he was actually crazy, I was super impressed.

    It's too bad that we don't have more places like this Hardware Store where ordinary people like this guy get the chance to show off their talent . I remember watching a Video where they sat up a Piano at the Airport and total strangers would sit down to play it was awesome to watch. This shows me that Music can really bring people together in a good way. I bet there are millions of people like this man who will never have the chance to show their talent and that's a real shame. I remember being on a ship coming to the United States and watching a group of Americans playing guitar . ..so I went and got mine and joined them ,even though I didn't speak any English ... I will never forget that day. Music can bring people together and it is awesome.

    Freakin' amazing! Kid must have been doing this since age 5. Crazy? Yeah, just like that wacked out crazy-man, the wild, madly talented singer/pianist Jerry Lee Lewis. He has Lewis's chops down -- the songs, the tempo, the piano work (using the entire keyboard, top to bottom), even the voice (and, I think, the accent). We need more "random crazy" like this. I wonder if JLL has seen this?

    • @miszuisu
      @miszuisu 10 років тому +2

      He's not bad, but I wouldn't call this amazing, not even close. His hands and fingers are way too stiff, and if he doesn't improve his posture, he won't get any better. Other than that, he's alright, but way better than I can do, that's for sure.

    • @aricblackwelder8491
      @aricblackwelder8491 10 років тому +3

      miszuisu Please don't take this as snappy, but I'm confused as to how you can critique him if it's already way better than you can do? Not to mention how you can manage to tell how stiffly he happens to be holding the muscles inside his fingers from a 240p resolution video. Are you a music teacher that doesn't play piano or something?

    I have read several comments about Jacob’s positioning of his left hand, so let me tell you a little story...
    Being such a dedicated musician, Jacob wasn’t necessarily a gifted athlete. In our 7th grade gym class, our gym teacher filled in as the quarterback for both teams. One pass to Jacob that had a liiiittle too much OOMPH on it, and his finger is dangling off the side of his hand.
    He broke his pinky. That’s why he positions his hand so awkwardly. You’re welcome!
