Restoration Of Antique Spinning Wheel | 200 YEARS OLD
The tool we are restoring today is an approximately 200 year old tool. its name is spinning wheel . This antique Spinning wheel was used to make a Yarn From Wool. From 1800 till now, it is used in some areas which are undeveloped. This antique tool is made almost entirely of wood with different parts.
I got this tool from my house because My grandfather used to work on this. I brought it in for restoration and restored it with a lot of history Because due to being so full, all its joints were shaken. I took apart all its parts and did a thorough restoration one by one. And a beautiful color was also applied on it which enhances the beauty of its wood. After the restoration, I carefully reassembled the all parts. Now all that was left was to make it work and show how it worked 200 years ago, so I recorded a short video for this also. The video is very well made and was working well only after restoration. The ONLY way to restore an antique without COMPLETELY devaluing it (the way you did), would be hand sanding and proper techniques from the time period. Not cool, bro

What I really mean is that you are incorrect to call this a "restoration". All you are doing is making it look prettier. Its intrinsic value is now completely gone.

honestly, my 10 year old boy could have done a better job. what happened to all the play in the holes? the wrappings, the functionality? let alone the action which was like miming to the camera. better luck next time.
