Thanks for sharing
I’ve been trying to work in sublimation to tile with laminate as the substrate for months. I’ve watched so many UA-cam videos and wasted ink, paper, tiles, and laminate. Your technique is the only one that has worked for me! Kudos to you!!! Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Awesome! You’re so welcome 🙏🏾
excellent video -- did not have to watch you cut paper, print image, etc. straight to the point! Loved it!
"The best sublimation video on you tube"... 100%. And I love the way you're enjoyment comes across too. Thank you for generously sharing your love and creativity!!!!
Thank you!! Great video - clear, concise, easy to follow! Well done!
wow ... super easy! And thank you for keeping it short and sweet. LOVE the design!
Thank you. So very simple and I thought there would be a lot more involved.
You gave the best tutorial on this. Thank you so much!
Thank you so very much for this. I’m new to sublimating mugs and wanted to create tiles too. Happy Holidays to you.
Great vid
Wow that came out beautifully
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I was missing the step for the laminating paper!! Just ordered some
Thank you for such a great explanation!
You are awesome!! Thank you for sharing.
How do you prevent bubbles in the laminate?
Thank you
Trying this today! I've watched other videos that press the image from the bottom with the tile flipped upside down. I'm trying your way!!
awesome glad i found your video
I have tried the laminate again and again and it’s always filled with bubbles, I can never get it to be smooth looking 😢 plus I keep cracking them so I gave up but I’m gonna try your method. Thanks
Cork screw backing works good too
Hi there, I notice there are many unanswered questions. Please take a few minutes to respond. Much appreciated. Thanks
Thanks for a simple procedure , I'm going to make one let's see 😊
Wow. Did you seal them with anything?
That’s beautiful
Great video
Very nice, short, sweet and to the point! Simplest I've seen this explained and done. Thank you. Just 1 question, the tile has to be ceramic?
do you use sticky laminating paper
Hello Ms. Prosperous nice job. What side of the laminating paper goes on the tiles
I have a heat pres machine like yours and I can’t do tiles. It doesn’t close evenly. I tried manny time to calibrate it but still can’t do it
Can it be used outdoor for example tombstone?
How do you prevent the blotchiness/bubbling in the tile and the laminate sheet? I'm using the same pocket laminating sheets and tearing off half like you do, and I've tried your way, and other tutorials where you do 350 deg at 12 minutes face down, but either way, it always gets some bubbles. Maybe more pressure? Anyone have any thoughts?
I really need someone to do step by step with the laminate sheets placed on the ceramic tile and the correct temperatures. I keep getting blotches and bubbles. Help please.
What kind of pressure are you using because mine does not come out right using 60 seconds and 400degree temperature. Please help.
Thank you!
Question ... Is that a piece of butcher paper covering the top and bottom of your heat press??? I just noticed that ...
It’s a Teflon sheet
My laminate peels off. What am I doing wrong?
Great video! Would you not have to use parchment or butcher paper on top? So wanting to try this.
Does the thickness of the laminate sheet matter?
What press do you use?
How did you keep from getting bubbles on the laminate
I’m having that same issue... they say to rub them out with a squeegee soon as you pull them from the heat press. But I seem to be getting too many to have a nice finished look
How do they hold up? Have you used them as coasters? Your video proves i was right! Lol. Because all over videos said to laminate for 12 minutes and then sub for 12 minutes or some insane time like that that didnt make sense to me. Thank you!
What pressure do you use eg. high medium low? Looks fab x
Medium pressure 🙂 thank you 🙏🏾
@Miss Prosperous I did one but the laminate had few bubbles in and then it peels off ever so easily. Any help/guidance would be much appreciated x
Do you think we can make the tile into a hot plate to put hot pots and pans? Or no since it has laminate
Did you mirror the image
Yes 🙂
I just got my machine today. I know you can get rock slates especially for this but I was gonna get rock slate tiles like you would use in a house. Would yo recommend the same process, or would I have to use a different coating since the tlie would be dark?
Will this work on the mugs?
How are you keeping the bubbling out? I've ton a ton and it's not working
Also the sharp edges from the laminate. Are you leaving it that way?
Which side does the laminate paper face down or up is it sticky
The matte side (rough, NOT shiny) has the glue on. The glue side goes against the tile.
Hello I used the laminating sheets, it didn’t work. Are there specific sheets that we use? It wrinkled and didn’t transfer the image
Make sure to use appropriate heat laminate..some brands are low temp which will melt :)
I've tried this but I keep getting bubbles on the tiles??? Please help!
me, too. did you figure it out?
@@nblization I have tried over ten times and NONE of my tiles came out.......... super sad
