This is actually a very unique insight into what an F1 driver goes through to train for an F1 weekend everyday. And also it’s nice to see what an average person feels when they use an F1 training routine. Also when people say “F1 drivers aren’t real athletes” watch this

Yeah, really interesting. Something that stuck out to me is Lando's flexibility, especially laterally in the torso. Makes sense that you'd need to be both strong and flexible when cornering so you don't just mush into the side of the seat like a sack of potatoes.
@@SirFilmore exactly and let’s not forget these guys are sometimes pulling 5g through the corners so u need to be as fit as possible
Lol this is really not that much. The bare minimum that anyone should be able to do, except maybe for the neck training which is specialized
I mean sure they train, but nowhere near the levels of a physical athlete.
They're still athletes nonetheless, just because they compete in a sport.

as an athlete, i can tell you that when your working out, you WANT it to hurt the next day because it makes you feel good in a weird way. it makes you feel improved and accomplished:)

Doubt it, Niran looked like he isn't even trying to be honest.
Day after abs + 5km swim training and your abs hurt, it felt so good because you feel the 6 packs start to form and it does a few weeks later

This is such a new concept. Seeing f1 drivers in youtube videos that aren't just clips of them racing is really cool to see. People at the top of sports have a godlike aura to a lot of people but videos like this show people that they're just normal people who worked hard for what they have.
Lando is one of the F1 drivers to make wholesome vids that has nothing to do with F1 races

@anon anon true in this case but it’s the same in cheaper sports like football. These people at the top are basically just normal people with incredible work ethics. Sure some have physical gifts too but they’re not super human is my point.

I work harder then this and I work out harder then this and I don't get to drive an f1 car and I'm not ultra rich. Struggling to find how you would have respect for this ?
@@alistairrigby2771 No matter that F1 Drivers are rich and famous but they‘re working hard to be strong enough and healthy to drive an F1 car. So i respect the motivation to do it. Obviously people who work everyday in a very hard job have my respect to. But that wasnt the topic in this video. Sorry if not everything is grammatical correct. English isnt my main language.
