- Two days after the Republican Party of Florida announced he would be one of their at-large delegates, Barron Trump has declined to participate in the GOP convention due to "prior commitments." First lady Melania Trump issued a statement saying he would not be participating.

I have never, ever seen a picture of that boy where he didnt look miserable. I cant imagine having the misfortune to be him. He didnt ask for those horrible parents, and his father will destroy him or disown him for being anything but slavishly loyal. Just like his grandfather did. I have the utmost sympathy for him, until such a time as he harms others, showing he is like his parents, i will hold out hope for the boy to overcome his tragic beginnings and become a decent human being. No matter what barron does, i will always be sad for him.

I think he's had a traumatic childhood, despite the wealth. I was a goth kid in high school and the school called my parents concerned about how miserable I seemed more than once. He looks more miserable than I did.

He doesn't seem to care about Ethiopian children starving to d3ath, or saving people from flesh-eating viruses, so not sure why he should care about some kid born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Maybe try praying to Spider-Man or Harry Potter instead.

I feel sorry for Barron. Imagine how he must feel hearing about all his father's affairs - he is obviously close to his mum so it must be tearing him up. On top of that is all the other things his dad is charged with and the way he talks at his rallies! Total enbarrassment for the poor kid.I hope he follows his own path in life and is happy.
