Great video Ollie, been to those places but never managed a flight like that, maybe next year, planning to come over from Australia Well done , enjoyed watching
@@OllieEllis are you based in Switzerland as well? We've had some incredible flying days the last week's! Multiple 100k plus flights :) Awesome! I'm still on the strike1. How's the strike 2 in comparison?
@@jonathansummerfield8390 unfortunately I’m in the Uk so missed out on those days, but a friend told me it was good. I think the Supair description explains the changes really well and I would agree with it. Compared to the original, the back support is higher up in the harness which makes it comfier. It’s more unstable and you can feel what the wing is doing much more. I think I’m the cockpit is at a better angle, and my legs used to hang a little high in the old one, this is now fixed and I hang nicely. Cons - the internal pocket in the backpack has been made smaller and now doesn’t fit a water bladder! Also the reserve handle is very small, it’s not a problem, but would be nice if it was a little chunkier but the just preference I guess. If I was given the choice again, I would definitely upgrade.
Brilliant video! I love all of your Swiss alps content. Keep it up! The routes you take are very beautiful and relatively easy to follow. One thing to keep in the back of your mind for the future when flying in Swiss airspace: Unless you are less than 300m above Ground, you are supposed to stay away from clouds. 300m vertically and 1.5km horizontally to be precise. Just so you know. Because you can get in trouble because of it.
Which do you prefer, GoPro head cam footage or Timelapse footage?
Time lapse + the commentary is most useful for my own learning. I hope to copy this flight some day! Epic, cheers
@@The.FlyGuy Thanks, that’s my personal favourite too.
Beautiful video.. flew the Grindlewald area a few years ago. Brought back some great memories:-)
@@TheThermlav8or thank you. yeah it’s such a great place to fly.

Best paragliding POV I have ever seen. Beautifull fligths. Cant wait to go base jumping and paragliding to the valley next month. Cheers! 😊
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, it will be good time out there in September
@@OllieEllis Also, may I ask about the time and conditions in this flight? Afternoon and low wind? Perhaps even zero wind?
@@VilleValpuri I can’t remember the exact conditions but it was very light winds, and it was September.
Yep.. still one of my favourite videos on YT
Thanks, yeah it’s still one of my most memorable flights. A great day with mates I dont get to see that much.
Epic video ! Can’t wait to fly here next season !
Go get it… great place to fly

Thanks glad you enjoyed it. I can try to fly there but it maybe a change 😀
Yes, it's better to fly in the summer, so as not to freeze in the air))) fly for a long time)))
Thanks for your videos! ;)
Great video! Really beautiful scenery. I like the style of keeping the angle locked on the terrain features
Beautiful little flight!
I fly the very same set up :)
Glad you liked it, hoping for more soon now the weather is improving.
Yeah I liked the setup, but have changed to the Strike 2 for this season. :)

Thanks man, I’ll take note. Glad you enjoy the videos I’ll hopefully have a few more ready soon. 🤘
Brilliantly shown 👌
What are the little stubby toggles on each riser for ?
They are C steering toggles 😀
This sport is unreal
Yeah it give you real good freedom. Try a tandem 💪
Very nice video!
Thanks 🙏
Amazing !
Glad you like it, I’ve got more coming soon. :)
@@OllieEllis im tuned in !
Buen trabajo bonito video bravo 👏👍🙌
🙏🙏👊
Fantastic stuff, great music choice, solid narration. A little abbreviated but kids these days and their short attention spans...
Thanks, appreciate you watching, I’ll probably do more videos in this style again this year.
That is the stupidest way to start off a video I have ever seen. Discontinued watching.
I see your videos are really good too 👀
What a bizarre comment. I loved the video
