What’s wrong with “bro”-ing it up? I like that he’s defying the stereotype that figure-skating is a girly sport. He’s making it his own. His skating clearly showcases his character, and I see nothing wrong with that.
Some skaters like Trusova famously put everything else secondary other than jumps, and the result was stiff choreography and not so enjoyable program if the quads got taken out. Most people still watch for other than the top notch techical content, and enjoy the Yuzuru-esque skaters who blend the art and sport together. There are of course many ways to do that, "girly" or not, and I think there people get it wrong. Malinin got the Trusva critique too couple seasons ago. He seems to be working hard on it though, so I don't see either what the problem is anymore. He wants to go the gymnast style, let him. You can't say that he doesn't sell his new programs well. As you said it, creating his own style.
Illian put a Quad Salchow triple axel combination in the end of his program to compensate for his earlier mistakes! That was so impressive, I’m still shocked! He truly can do anything!!! 😮

Last June 2024, the ISU has allowed backflips from 2024/2025 season in competition in the Junior and Senior categories. 12 year old Eloisa with IGN eloisaiceskater, the first British skater to land a backflip in official competition. It was her first Junior competition and she won gold.

The ISU livestreams every ISU event (the grand prix series, euros, 4cc, worlds, etc.) and all of these streams are uploaded afterwards, plus each skater's programs are uploaded individually!
Sadly this is blocked in rhe USA because the broadcasting company (NBC i think?) has the rights to it, you can get around that by using a vpn and setting it to any other country
In other countries the only streams that are blocked are streams of competitions based in that country (eg. Skate Canada is blocked in Canada) because the local broadcasting company owns the rights to show those specific events
That day Salchow was cursed for FS and Axel for SP I must say tho Donovan looked a little bit down in the FS, he looked like that before the competition

Did you know Kevin actually beat Ilia in the free. also kevin at a national competition (idk if it was international or nah but it was oretty small) 3 weeks ago freackin fell all the jumps or popped in the short and liked fell in 5/7 jumps in the long. and he delivered the amazing 0A in the long HE straight give up on the axel and ditn take off so idk what bro took in this two weeks weeks but i just pray for his mental health and get him away from silvia fontana pls
nina is always off because they are strict and often give her underoation on the combos especially and the flutz. they are less strict with other skaters. Skate america was really strict with jumps especially all the women in the short had 3lutz+3toe underrotated except for elisa(the ameican). tbsy even questioned one of Ilia lutzes for a bit but yeah
