My beater 📷 is a Beast! Nikon D 200.

My good old Nikon D 200 Ten megapixel CCD sensor. This thing is pro level, very sparse controls, no scene mode, no video, physical levers to change the focus modes. Top shutter speed of 1/8000 flash sync at 1/250. Built like a tank, rock solid. Not the best for low light, it gets a little grainy around ISO 800. Above ISO 800, switch to the Black and White profile, crank the ISO and pop the flash. It gives a very old school news look. Works well with many old and new Nikon F mount lenses. The 1.5x crop factor means that my 400mm f/5.6 acts like a 600mm 8.4 lens. Very good at reproducing browns.
