- When I heard that TikToker Michelle Kaplin (aka @MichKapCooks) was cooking her way through the Cravings cookbooks à la 'Julie & Julia,' I knew that I had to meet her! And so here we are in my NYC apartment cooking a new Cravings recipe: Garlicky, Brown Butter-Basted Steak. This technique of basting beef with brown butter, garlic, and rosemary will caramelize the crust and keep the juices locked inside. It will give you steakhouse-worthy, flavorful meat every time, perfectly seared in our nonstick cast iron enamel skillet! I promise you'll never want to cook steak another way again.
