Joe The Disney Guy I’m taking a children’s literature class in a couple of weeks, so this movie was my prerequisite. And it was fantastic! 🍯

This movie was a lovely tribute to the loyal Pooh fans of all these decades! There were so many "inside jokes" and references to the Pooh and Christopher Robin's childhood stories that probably went unnoticed for those who weren't familiar with them. For this, I applaud Disney for being bold enough to make a movie that mostly fans would truly "get", knowing that it may be lost on those watching Winnie The Pooh for the first time. And a million thanks to Disney for this gem that we'll keep forever!

A good and fair review of this little gem of film. I really it myself. I was smiling and lip singing to the "Tigger" song in the theater. I thought it was a brilliant choice to start where the original movie ended and continue from there. The voice work defiantly helped with that. I found the donkey (cannot spell his name) was one of the highlights for me. Just his dry dialogue was really well delivered and timed.
Great job, Joe. I am curious if you will be looking at (when you get to it) the movie, Pooh's Grand adventure the Search for Christopher Robin. I would really be interested in your thoughts. Keep up the good work , Joe :)

The fact that Tigger is played by Jim Cummings is Tiggerific!

I just wish we could have gotten Travis Oates back as Piglet. I will say though, Brad Garrett does a good Eeyore

Hey I love your videos, man. Do you think you could do a line of reviews of the renaissance of Disney just like you did for the golden years? Also, I think it would be awesome if you do something for Halloween, like doing top 10 or 5 (how you like) of Halloween movies and shorts reviews of each one in one video, you know, like Coco, Nigthmare before Christmas, The haunted House (of Eddie Murphy)

Once the real-life Christopher Robin Milne grew up & married, he did have a daughter, but she was born with cerebral palsy & passed away in 2012 at age 56.

Did you grow up watching Pooh’s Grand Adventure. That was my second favorite Pooh movie because it has some similar themes to this one and put the characters I love in a adventureous story.

Great review Joe! I want to see this one but it didn't expect it to be so emotional the way you describe it. Not sure I'll like this one. It sounds depressing lol. If MoviePass didn't suck now then I'd definitely be going to see it this week. Looking forward to your next review!

Complete non sequitur but MoviePass has become a bit of a mess hasn't it? In retrospect the writing was pretty on the wall that this would become an issue but it's still disappointing nonetheless

Hey! Not sure if you've seen the movie yet... I watched it a few days ago. I'd also saw some clips and reviews of it and thought I'd be bawling my eyes out the entire time. While I sort of was, once I started watching, I couldn't turn it off. There are some scenes that really hit hard and almost hurt but there is redemption... For all the rough part of the movie, there are extra sweet scenes that address them and more than make up for them. I hope you get to see it! I'm glad I did.

Do the review of Beauty and the Beast (1991)

He does his reviews of Disney canon films in the order that they 1st came out. The last one he did was The Great Mouse Detective, so the next one will be Oliver & Company. Then The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers Down Under, & Beauty & the Beast. So prepare for a very long wait.
