@@karlat7880 soaking the shirt in soda ash solution helps the dye bind to the fabric. The colors will be brighter and will remain brighter through more washes. Soda ash is sold in powder form and is mixed 1 cup soda ash to 1 gallon of water. I use a 5 gallon bucket and soak the shirts for 20 minutes. :)
