Brieftons 5-Blade Spiralizer - Spiral Slicer Demo
Here is a video showing how to use the Brieftons 5-Blade Spiralizer to make various cuts and spiral strands out of your vegetables.
This is a great tool to add textures and colors to your dishes, and can help you stay healthy by eating more raw vegetables and fruits.
    COMPONENTS
    --------------
The Brieftons 5-Blade Spiralizer comes with:
    - A moving platform
    - A standing blade rack
    - A vegetable holder and turning handle
    - A spiralizer body
    - 5 blades. There is 1 blade pre-installed in the standing blade rack, 2 blades stored in the storage compartment under the spiralizer body, plus 2 loose blades in the package.
The blades are marked to show what they are for.
    - The Angel Hair blade, 3mm blade and 6mm blade can make 2mm, 3mm and 6mm noodles respectively
    - The Flat Blade can make wide veggie slices, shredded cabbage, capsicum/onion strings, potato chips, circular shreds, curvy shreds and more
    - The Curly Fry blade can make 12mm wide x 6mm thick curly fries from potatoes, sweet potatoes etc.
    HOW TO ASSEMBLE
    --------------
1: Install the blade rack by pushing it down and locking it into the spiralizer body.
2: Make sure the blade rack is firmly secured in place by pushing down on the hinge until it can no longer move further.
3: Insert the desired blade into the blade rack.
4: Push the blade down until it locks in place.
5: Insert the vegetable holder into the hole at the top of the handle stand.
6: Connect the turning handle with the vegetable holder by screwing it clockwise, until it firmly locks in place.
7: To be able to use the side handle to push vegetables forward, move it into its ready position.
    HOW TO CHANGE BLADES
    --------------
1: Remove the installed blade from the standing blade rack. Use one hand to push forward on the little dot at the back of the blade panel. At the same time, use your other hand to lift the blade panel up to remove it.
2: Choose your desired blade. If it's inside the blade storage compartment, remove it. Use one hand to lift the tab up, and at the same time, use the other hand to pull the blade panel out from the other side.
3: Push the desired blade down on the slot at the top of the spiralizer, until it is locked in place. Make sure it faces the spikes on the wheel
4: Store away the unused blade and make sure it locks in place
    HOW TO USE
    --------------
First of all, make sure to secure the spiralizer by pushing down on the 4 corners, until the suction cups lay flat on the table. Give it a quick test to make sure the unit is firmly attached to the table.
Place a bowl or plate under the extended platform at the end of the spiralizer.
Next, select a blade of your choice and lock it in position.
Here I have a sweet potato that has been cut flat at the 2 ends. Insert the vegetable between the spindle and the blade. It is best to ensure the vegetable stays in the middle, and not tilted heavily to any one side.
Start spiralizing by turning the crank handle in a clockwise motion. Use the other hand to push the stabilizing handle forward to slowly move the vegetable closer to the blade.
Spiralized strands will come out from the other end. The extended platform helps to catch the strands and keep your table clean.
Once done, the blade can go back into the storage compartment.
There will be a core leftover which can either be tossed onto your dish or discarded (if it contains just seeds as with zucchinis, cucumbers etc.).
    TYPES OF CUTS
    --------------
Here are just some examples of how to create many different veggie noodle patterns using your spiralizer:
    - Use the Angel Hair for thin 2mm zucchini, carrot noodles
    - Use the 3mm blade for 3mm zucchini, cucumber noodles
    - Use the 6mm blade for 6mm beet noodles
    - Use the Flat Blade to make wide slices from various vegetables, cabbage shreds, capsicum/onion strings, apple/potato chips, circular and curvy potato shreds etc. Cut 1 or 2 V-shaped tracks along the side of a potato to create circular or curvy potato shreds respectively.
    - Use the Curly Fry for 12mm wide x 6mm thick curly fries from potatoes and sweet potatoes.
I hope this video has given you some ideas on how to use the Brieftons 5-Blade Spiralizer in your kitchen.
Thanks for watching and happy spiralizing!
