Hey i bought this recently and i have a question manny. Did you keep the plate reflector on inside or did you take it off before you put on the diffusion panel on? It looks like you kept the plate on
Hi Manny, do you use white or silver interior beauty dish ? I hesitate for buying one. I know white is softer but outdoor, no idea if enough reflective
I just can't hold my camera out in front of me like that to take photos. Just doesn't feel right. I don't feel right not using the view finder. Thats why I bought a sir and not a point and shoot. I can see it for extreme low or high angle shots but for 99% I want my eye to the camera. But thats just me. Great video and nice pictures.
It's not just you. It took a while for me, coming from the film & dslr days. However, I've found that using the screen has helped with my composition and expanded my ability to see the entire scene to choose shots faster.
That beauty dish has been nice to me lately on location and in studio!
Manny. I am just getting into lighting. What stands are you using? They Look nice and sturdy.
Great video. Loved the shots with the cables.

For this video, Manny only used the white interior beauty dish. If you’re looking for the softest look, it’s the way to go!
thank you ! Just ordered the 36" manny ortiz white one as well as two stripbox 1x4.
Beautiful 😍

Takes practice. I don’t have to get on the ground as much to grab that low corner so that’s a bonus as I get older.

Manny, you guys spelled her last name wrong. Wheeland
Bro, ditch that light and work that camera 📸 with all those beautiful lines and buildings. She’s tall and lanky, she can do anything.
You are showing off what you doing, and not teaching how you doing.
