I wish the Ollie's in Raleigh, NC had models stocked like that. Instead they have at the most 4 different ones and maybe 2 of each. I've never seen that many Hot Wheels and Matchbox type 1/64 die cast either. You might find a shoebox filled with 20 to 30 in it but that's about the limit. Their book selection is fantastic and actually set up pretty good. My wife and I go once a week and have since our Ollie's opened. Sometimes it looks like nothing new has been added. Maybe if we get lucky someone from Ollie's Wil read this and more models will start stocking way more and way more types of models in their Capitol Boulevard store here in Raleigh, NC
@@DanielQuigley-gr3tc it so crazy how the stores could be so different.. I've been t9ld ths5 clis4 to the holidays they may get more models in. So definitely keep an eye on that.. appreciate you watching. Good luck with your store..
Nice video! Thanks 😎👍
Thank you. Really appreciate that. And you watching
Hello pappy it's been a while. This is David from low country railroad. I have stepped away from trains for now. Good to see your video. Just subscribed
Hey there David, appreciate you stopping by. Wondered what you been upto. I'll check out your models. Really appreciate you checking out the video, I'm going to be doing a bigger layout in HO, and will be Doing an HO scale slot car track.. so been checking out other stores and things for the modeling and slot car chanels.. stay tuned.. but I'll still be posting my my travels here as well. And my train channel still going strong, appreciate you watching.. hope to see you back. I hit the bell on yours to keep my eye on you 🤣🤣
@@PappysPotluck thanks pappy. I will have to check in on the train guys and see what's going on
Your Ollies have more Models than mine does here in Champaign, ILLinois
I been getting similar comments, you'd think they would distribute them evenly among each store. Appreciate you watching
...in my yute, I'd spend HOURS among the plastic kits...
🤣🤣 I used to as well, now I gawk at slot cars and trains, guess we never wanna grow up. Appreciate you watching
@@PappysPotluck ...I remember when there were REAL hobby shops STACKED with kits to the ceiling!!!
@@mohammedcohen oh man, yes those were the days.. parents had to drag me out..
I got lots of diecasts from those stores
Its nice finding some good deals and stuff you like to collect, I was in a different one a few months back and I picked up a johnny lightning Ford mustang.. was a great price.. appreciate you watching
I go to Ollie's and I got some very rare models and I wish I could find a model of a 1977 Corvette because I have a real one and I would like the model to go with it
Oooh, you have a vet.. thats awesome. I think 77 is one of the better looking year of them. A model of it would be really nice.. appreciate you watching..
🎶Ollies Ollies Ollies,

1970 - 80's TV
🤣🤣🤣 oh I remember those school house rock breaks, very well.. good stuff, appreciate you watching
They are a good place to find Auto World and Round 2 overruns.
I'll have to check back more often for those, I like auto world stuff. Appreciate you watching
My wife is an Ollies addict. I may have to put her down.😂
🤣🤣🤣 my wife says that about me with hobby stores 🤣 appreciate you watching. Thus comment is awesome
Dang!!! Where are those two stores because you have a ton of things we don’t have here in Atlanta, Georgia!
I'm up here in Ohio, been getting comments like yours that some stores are way different. 😒 that's crazy, appreciate the comment and you watching
Instead of stickin a planet earth up in Calcutta, Ohio, they should have put a Ollies store in the place next to Busy Beaver.
Yeah ollies would of been a good thing for you to get.. its nice to check back from time to tune to see what deals they have, hopefully you get one soon.. appreciate you watching
There's a Ollie's in Muncie Indiana also.
I love how many there are, gives folks access to some of the bargains you can find there. Not all are bargains, but there are some deals, appreciate you watching
If only they had slot cars
Oh man, that definitely would be awesome, I definitely would go a lot more than I do now.. I go to the hobby lobby for slots, auto world cars 20 bucks.. thanks for watching.
Great video
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it, appreciate you watching.
They dont have any of that stuff at the Ollie's by me, wish they did
That sucks, a few others have said the same thing.. wonder how they decide what goes to what store... keep checking maybe you'll get some.. appreciate you watching
I used to work in a toy store 40 years ago. I can tell you that the prices on these models are outrageous even at these bargain prices. No way that a box of thin plastic is worth $20.
@@laff000 compared to some prices online, they are a bargain. Not that I agree with it. But it has gotten ridiculous on the things we like as hobbies now.. they have priced kids right out if it
Well times change right. If prices don't go up how do expect people to make a living thing are bad but we can blame the democrats and Mr. Smarts Biden right
My Ollie's location shen they do have models no glue no restore paints . I bought several models hanging ontkbghdm till glue paints are available without ordering on line.
K do like the Johnny lightning cars real diecast . These stores are cleaner then mg Pennsylvania store
@@duaneshuster6366 yeah these type of stores that do the buy outs and close outs, some may never get glues or paints.. may have to go to a hobby lobby if you got one close to you. They have a lot of selection. Appreciate you watching
Subbed.
@@apocyldoomer thank you much appreciated. I'll go check you out..
Check the top shelves as they forget to stock some kits
Thats a good tip, thank you..
That`s a Spicy Meat Ball.
🤣🤣🤣 appreciate you watching
Those 2 Ollie's are clean compared to the 1 close to me. You cant even get down the aisle.
Oh wow, thats crazy, I thought they would all be about the same, we have some Dollar general stores that are hard to walk in.. so I definitely know what you mean.. appreciate you watching
@@PappysPotluck same here with our dollar general stores. The aisle are so narrow you can barely get a cart down them.
@@dustyb6799 a cart?? 🤣🤣 some of these your barley lucky to get your body down the isle 🤣🤣🤣
Ollie's is the place to be, hundreds of items that are almost free?😂

Definitely see alot in there with some great prices.. appreciate you watching
Atlantis and Round2 should dump their overstocks in the UK....
That would be nice for the UK folks for sure. Appreciate you watching
I wish our Ollie’s had models like that we are lucky they get toys that don’t sit on the shelves half smashed and stuffed in the boxes all mixed up in Pennsylvania we have not seen models since before Covid 19 now the cars are $20 and there is not big trucks or ships nothing good at all
@@jonnysuperglide yeah that sucks, hopefully with Christmas approaching they may get some in for you.. appreciate you watching
Put the stuff back in the box like it was, don’t just throw it back on top and make a mess.🤦🏾♂️
🤣🤣 if your referring to the star wars figure, I did put it back, off camera, didn't want to extend the video longer than needed. No one likes to watch useless footage.. my mom works retail and I see the hell she goes thru rearranging shelf fronts from messy people. So I do know better, thanks for pointing it out though.. I do appreciate you watching
Maybe you should get the batman hot wheels there might be worth collecting
Hello Joe, I have thought about going back and picking one or 2 of them up. You maybe right. Could be something one day, appreciate you watching
Hi I just got into collecting hot wheels like Lamborghini Gallardo Pagani zonda race cars

As of right now September 2024 Ollie's sucks when it comes to car models
@@howardharaway2259 depends on the Ollies
I never could see how grown-ass men can collect little matchbox and little cars that's so immature and childish. Building car models and trucks are different because it's 3 D art.
