Wow -- those bugs were certainly intense. You've obviously planned for that contingency with the face netting. I do enjoy these minimalist videos with little editing and post production. They feel the most authentic. All the best on your next adventure.
What a bug-ger of a trip. Certainly a different perspective with the night time filming. You must enjoy it to do it like this and the shots have a totally different affect. New set of wheels mate. Bushyboy Oz.
@ewengillies9826 Thanks mate. Yeah it is harder filming at night but it was nice to squeeze in a quick adventure. This was my first car I ever bought haha, started using it again. Thanks mate!
Great to see you back out in the New Zealand bush, so nice seeing the beautiful light through the trees and hearing the birds. Have a great Christmas - cheers!
@BackcountryKiwi i would like less sandflies. Okay, jokes aside I think it's a really good balance you have going. But honestly! If you enjoy the cinematic style show us more! You like talking about stuff? Go ahead. I don't think anything was out of balance. And I love you experimented with another less talky format that really brought out the "nature" of hiking. Do both!
cleaning out and cutting down an old packet like you had for the pasta can act as a pourer for coffee. Do you find that you save space by having your sleeping bag into its own stuff sack? It was cool to see your set up in use, shows how little you really need to be happy.
@davef5916 now that is a smart idea! I wish I had thought of that haha. Depending on the pack but yeah I think being able to compress it gives me more space although I'm not 100% sure. I have felt in the past that I have less room if I just stuff it in the bottom of my pack. Cheers
@jasonedwardledburynewzeala9897 haha yeah man. Nah it's nice getting the feet wet at times, better in summer. Just putting the socks back on is the worse part! Cheers mate
Hell yeah, can't beat a pasta pack under a tarp in the Kaimais. Back to the roots! Great stuff bro
Thanks heaps mate. Was nice to get out!
