That looked like such a chill adventure! Camping under the stars with no shelter must of been an amazing experience, especially with those clear skies. The ridgelines and Jordan stream looked beautiful too. What a stuning adventure 😍
There's nothing refreshing like some cowboy camping and a fire. I also thought you where driving on the wrong side of the rode for a quick second in the beginning of the video. Cheers

This and you’re kit load out video have defo inspired me to put together and ultralight fast packing kit together. Will be next summer now as in uk but I just love the idea of this kind of camping. Just won’t move as fast as you, as I’m 62 and not as fit as I once was 😅

@@_Caffeine_1 Hi! Thanks for your comment. If I'm going light I normally use The North Face future light lightriser rain jacket but I also use a Patagonia torrentshell a lot. I rarely use rain pants but I have a pair of Outdoor Research Apollo rain pants. Thanks!
Hope got tent or something keep rain off you because NZ BUSH no place be without Shelter. I no I live here in Southland and weather turn shit in a hour or less
Hi Jim. I have also lived in the south island and I have done this style of camping many times. I always carry some sort of shelter. On this trip I had my tarp with me and could have easily set it up if it had started to rain. Cheers.
