  • Link to razor is at bottom of description. This video was originally filmed in February 12, 2014. I got busy and forgot to edit it and post it. The hair on my head is about 3 months long.
In the video I shave my head with the Philips OneBlade 360. The main difference between this and the OneBlade in my other videos is that it's designed to pivot from side to side as well as front to back.
One of the things I liked the OneBlade 360 is the way they designed the guard. You simply push it down to get it to a different guard length instead of having to swap out guards. This is definitely an improvement over needing five different guards from the previous OneBlade versions.
The biggest drawback I noticed is that if your hair is a lot longer than the desired guard length, then the hairs is going to get caught underneath the blade and prevent it from cutting. The end result is going to be you'll have to clean the guard out after each pass.
For example, if your hair was an inch in length and you wanted to take it down to 5mm, then you're going to have a rough time.
On the other hand, it does pretty good with longer lengths of hair as long as you take the guard off.
Another thing I like is how they designed the cord to plug directly into the razor instead of plugging into a base and then into the razor like other models do.

I took your suggestion from one of your comments and I did a little beard shaping with it. I kept a few months and shaved it off last night. Had a woman call it “majestic” a few weeks ago, so it was a shame to get rid of it. 😂
I’ll try to get the videos out over the next few weeks.

Well that is one hell of a test with a razor that's for sure. I'm definitely going to be getting one. I'm not going to shave my head that bald because unfortunately I lost my hair mostly when I had my car accident 4 and 1/2 years ago and because of medication intake and so I have lost my hair. So I'm going to be shaving it like yours. But I'm going to leave some hair where you can see it but you look good dude it looks good on you. It really does. That's one hell of a proof that that razor works really really well

I believe I’ve said this before, but you should keep growing your hair out no more than about 4-6 months, you look good bald and with hair! And when your hair gets to this length again, ask the barber or stylist to taper it, it’ll keep the sides and back of your neck tidy and clean but either way you look great Thomas

I prefer the completely bald look myself. I think it helps might mental state too. I start feeling unkempt when it gets to be a few months between shaving my head. Might try to get back into a weekly head shaving routine or at last once every 2-3 weeks.

You have to go against the grain with the guard

I tried against the grain with the guard, but my hair was too long. It just built up underneath the blade and prevented any further cutting action.

@@ShaveWithThomasI’ve never used a One Blade. Could the guard be on backwards or upside down? I’ve never seen one that has it turned around like that. Most guards stick up and out to prevent that. Also I say just embrace the bald man. I think you look better bald. No homo. Also I’d recommend like an actual trimmer for hair. It’d be easier and less work. The one blade is more for body hair and face hair. Head hair is a different composition than all other body hair.

mate that is a good haircut, but you are saying you are shaving your hair, that is totally wrong, mate you are not shaving your hair, you are trimming your hair, because you are using trimming machine not blade.

I see your point, but not sure if it’s really worth splitting hairs over…🤣

You might have to use a hair clipper first than use that that's for short hair
