The thing with the hand in Jeepers Creepers 3 pissed me off so much. They set up that whole thing so that you're dying to know what they saw. Only for the movie to end without telling you. Why set up a cliffhanger for a movie that took 10 years to make. Knowing that there is 99% chance you won't be able to make a fourth one.
Except it really wasn't. Every other Alien movie shows it takes hours or even days for the chestbursters to hatch, and then more time to grow to full size. AvP goes "oh 10 minutes from facehugger to fully grown, sure that works". Admittedly I'm very biased, I've read the source material, the comics and the books, they do a very similar story in a much better way, keeping to the cannon. AvP2 is guilty of messing with the timing too, and yes it's dark but atleast it wasn't a PG13, and knew it was a silly action movie. Neither are good movies but of the 2, the 2nd is by far the better movie.
@@heartless604 how so? AvP2 while guilty of been dark, and having an issue with the implantation to full growth timing, sticks fairly close to the rest of its source material. Sending an elder warrior to clean up a mess, and hunt a rare and extremely dangerous xenomorph is correct. AvP1 tho is a blooding hunt, ubbloodied warriors would not mark themselves, a clan elder has to do that. They would also have at the end, known the predator was infected and killed the embryo. Then there's the basic premise of the pyramid, been activated by removing the plasma casters, begs the question how do you install them initially, and the more important point, the predators don't leave their weapons unattended on primitive planets, can't have the potential prey finding them (hence their self destruct devices).
THIS. Everything that was great about the first one was just...gone. Great characters? Nope. Huge action scenes? Kinda. Big robots and monsters that felt huge, heavy, and different from everything that was too "fast" and obviously human-choreographed motion capture? No. Memorable kaiju? No; there were barely kaiju in it. Simple plot that moved the characters and action forward with strong momentum? Nope, a jumbled mess with basically nothing driving it until the halfway point. Just...gah. Everything was wrong, and that's not even getting into spoiler territory.

HELLRAISER 2 is at least equal to the first one, and HELLRAISER: INFERNO is quite good too. 3 and 4 are ... okay? The rest? Yeah, don't waste your time.
The fact they even made a sequel to Sicario made me mad. The fact it didn't even involve Denis Villenueve made me furious. Screw that movie for even existing and missing the point of what made the first one good.
While obviously no where even close to the first 2, I actually am one the few that enjoyed T3 apparently. The other 2 sequels are the ones that deserve the hate IMO.
Terminator 3 was more of a mediocre film than it was an offensively bad one. Like it just left me indifferent to its existence rather than totally broken by what it contributed to the Terminator brand name.
I love the contrast of Ash's consistently wonderful hyped enthusiasm and Simon Gallaghers cold, slow dissection of a film before Clery goes savage. Need moarrr.
Aliens vs Predator 2 is a very dark film. Oh, you mean it's got some very gritty themes and horror style imagery? Well it would have, if you could see it!
I love you Scott, no homo. I was so hyped for TLJ, TFA was good enough for me definitely not the best but not terrible. Then TLJ does nothing but cut the future plot threads like Snoke.
None of those threads were ever established by the film before hand. And if you're going to lie like that, why would you use the plot thread focussed on the least? I.e. Snoke, i.e. the character who has only seconds of screen time in TFA?
adam quane bruh, Snoke was set up to be the next Palpatine or even Palpatine himself how would that not be crucial. TFA has some interesting stuff, how’d the FO get so much stuff, why was the new republic so useless, why tf is this random chick so ridiculously powerful for no reason. None of this was answered, sinking TLJ into the least useful spot of any SW film (plot wise). Not to mention it had worse acting than the prequels half of the time.
@@noobikenoobi5580 Two questions: 1. Why on Earth do you want a "next Palpatine?" Why can't we have something that isn't copied and pasted? And 2. Where in TFA is he set up to be the "next Palpatine?" And please don't answer with "because he sits on a chair and talks to the lightsaber man with authority" He was absolutely NOT set up to be Palpatine himself. Some randomer predicted that he would be and brainless fuckheads thought they were telling the truth, despite the fact that the randomer actually said that his Snoke theory was his and his alone. Also, stop saying/writing "bruh." I'm guessing you aren't an American, so use "Bruv" instead.
1. Nobody _wants_ a "next Palpatine", but that's effectively the position he occupies in the movie. They are just responding what the movie gave us. 2. He is functionally identical to Palpatine. Trying to deny that "he sits on a chair and talks to the lightsaber man with authority" is extremely similar to the Emperor would be objectively false even if it were the only similarity, which is bad because it's not. The robes, his connection to the dark side, his physical appearance, his relationship with Kylo, his leading the first order, his short mysterious appearances on screen, his pure use of the force rather than lightsaber, his general position in the plot, it goes on and on. Change a few names around and he literally _is_ the Emperor. Now I don't think that Snoke literally was the Emperor reborn or some nonsense, but you have to understand that the only reason people are theorizing that is because of how little sense everything makes without some explanation like that. Get it? The Force Awakens is cribbing the original trilogy so hard that to deny the similarities is to have literally not seen the movie. People only have "Snoke theories" because the existence of Snoke/the First Order are so inexplicable yet so relevant to the plot of the sequel trilogy that their mere existence necessitates explanation. And the fact that it was not explained makes it inherently a mystery. This is the text of the film, there is no reading into this. If you think these are boring questions, then fine, but that's what the movie gave us. These were the questions we were intentionally left with at the end of TFA. The fact that The Last Jedi threw these questions away means it has retroactively destroyed TFA to start from scratch, only to then take us nowhere.
*Spot On* critique of the problems with "The Last Jedi"! Aside from the politicizing garbage (Chewbacca can't even enjoy eating a Cornish Hen!), the way the story develops is just incongruous to anything Star Wars. As he pointed out, even the Rey/Kylo team-up was wasted as everything "reset". So many plotlines were useless, it was just ridiculous. Anyway, "thumbs up" in the first 2 minutes of this Video - I haven't even finished yet.

I think that's the point of TLJ. You aren't their number one target any more. You'll just have to go somewhere else. It's not like you're being banned or anything, this is how you feel. You only live once, so why bother obsessing over something you'll never like in the same way you used to? Imagine taking part in a nice meal with your family and a friend of your family keeps coming in and laying a big dump on the tea table because they used to like the food on the table, but they don't feel like eating it at that specific point. Would that be nice? This is that.
@@TheFlash-rh2el Nah, TLJ is more like you were advertised a full-course meal and were repeatedly served items from McDonald's $1 menu. And every time you express your disappointment and dissatisfaction someone tries to swoop in and provide an excuse for why you're disappointed and dissatisfied instead of just accepting you don't like the items on McDonald's $1 menu. Meanwhile, said people with excuses, gobble up this meal, act perplexed by those who see it another way, and suggest you just aren't the target demographic of these dinners anymore and you ought to eat somewhere else as though it's your fault for expecting some consistency and some semblance of the meals the restaurant had prepared in the past.

@@cgi2002 biased? You are a fool and confused.
No.
That awful Pacific Rim sequel
I never saw that because even the trailer gave off the wrong feeling
I loved it almost as much as the first one.
the worst part of this sequel was that it wasn't even hard to make a sequel... Literally they only thing anyone wanted was giant robot vs giant monster. That's it. give me 5 good fights and some nonsense in the middle to make it movie length and move on!
“Donnie Walburg” 🤣🤣 that sent me lmao
i dont get it..
Im surprised that Godfather part 3 didnt make this list.
Son of The Mask
Yeah but noone would expect a Jaime Kennedy movie to be anything short of an abomination.
Right. I didn't watch it for years then it came on tv and I started watching it. Started....😏

I liked it...
It's always good to see some love for avp. But we can all agree that requem sucks.
Yeah
@ - I just figured the energy used to awaken the queen was also for speeding up the incubation process so the predators didn't have to sit around waiting. It's not explained in the movie, and the movie was no doubt just edited that way to get to the action, but that's the rationale I use to avoid hating it.
Amen to that - No hope of an AvP franchise for the foreseeable future thanks to Requiem
Aliens Vs Predators Vs Pizzaguy
I liked Requiem more than AvP, sometimes, because it went full R. The monsters were monsters again.
The last jedi is indeed not good.. I tried 3 times. The 3th time i couldnt even finish the movie.

Matrix 2 for me. I like that Matrix 1 stands on it’s own that I can ignore they made two more movies.
The Last Jedi, and Shrek The Third. Both were promising, but ended up being extremely disappointingly awful
Matrix Reloaded is the first that comes to mind. But the Chronicles of Riddick is the one I rage in my mind the most about.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
The Star Wars prequels and 'the Last Jedi' without question.
Mortal Kombat Annihilation, HORRIBLE
You have to admit the fights where much better tho. But i agree.
Epic FAIL!
Great fights (especially the Raiden, ie Ray Park, vs the Reptiles) but they tried to shoehorn in everything from the game and that makes for a terrible movie. Animalities? No. Just... no.
I like both.
Battle of The Five Armies. I was SO disappointed that I never watched it again.
“Luke Skywalker wanting to kill a kid in his sleep.” Not just a kid- his SISTER’S kid. And he didn’t even TALK to Leia about it first. It’s such an incomprehensible script on so many levels that it ends up just being completely devoid of cohesion.
You've just called the script incomprehensible after relaying exactly what happened. Lmao. Fake fans.
Comprehension means understanding something on a critical level, not just at face value. Reading comprehension, for example, is obviously not your strong suit.
Highlander 2 - There can be more than one...and we're aliens.
I never hated TLJ, I think there is a good star wars movie in there somewhere... but everything that first guy said was so true..
Scott
His name is Crott Spielbore
My biggest Problem are the Charakters 99.9% of them are stupid. They only do the worst thing they can do and than IT doesnt even make senes,
they Brake reality more than once too (Rose and her Sister). And what the fuuuck ITS wrong with Poe at the start he ist Just stupid and Risks evryones live (If He hadent an complet braindead fuuckup as oponent they movie would BE over after 5 min) and in the end He calls for retread because the loses would BE to high ???? If they dont succed all of them die (OK Theres the exmachina Luke but he cant know about that) so WTF.
And thats for evry Charakter in the movie besides Rey but her Problem is, she is miss perfect so even that was Not good but If the worst Charakter from force awakens is the second best Thing in TLJ and she is still AS Bad AS she was before, yeah Not much good to say about this movie besides Kylo Ran i Likes his Charakter and Story Ark.
There’s a good movie in there somewhere but not a good Star Wars movie I think is the main issue. My husband liked it because he’s never seen any of the other Star Wars movies and so it kinda broke my heart.
@@EEVictory13 i agree with you ITS way better If you look at IT AS a movie instead of a Star wars movie. Problem is even AS a movie ITS Just Bad.
Plot is Shit Charakter are all stupid besides Kylo and Rey (maybe chewi but he is Just fanservices and does nothing) No other Charakter does anything intelligent the Casino Plot is Just boring filler. Only positive Thing is Kylo and ITS pretty to Look at.
Josh is so happy go lucky that every time he goes on a rant it's hilarious.
5 quid for a crappy movie, I died
I love you guys, but the naivety of youth prevents you from realizing the two worst, most disappointing, and most unnecessary sequels in movie history are Highlander 2: The Quickening and Blues Brothers 2000
Just let that sink in.
UGH! YES!! The Quickening was a disaster of a movie!
Highlander 2 aka The One We all Ignore.
Oof. Did you have to remind me those exist?
Well played Andy. Well played.
Very good choices there Andy both those movies are horrible.
These videos have become my lunchtime companion. Thanks for the entertainment!
Quantum of Solace, Iron Man 3, Men in Black 2, THE PREDATOR!!!!!
I personally don't see how Iron Man 3 could break a viewer after the franchise sweeped to a miserable low with Iron Man 2. The third one was very wacky with questionable plot-points, but I still think it was entertaining with some satisfactory endings to Tony's story arc that overall makes the film more rewatchable than Iron Man 2, imo.
Kaizer-Man yes
Kaizer-Man, honestly, I like both. 2 wasn’t that bad. At least it tied together all its plotlines
What a perfect ending!! "Donnie Wahlberg" Simply brilliant!
Ikr 😂
Prince Caspian and Voyage of the Dawn Treader. They're the reason I didn't get a Horse and his Boy and Silver Chair movie.
Kingsmen the golden circle
Grease 2. WTF was it?
Wood Laura Grease 2 wasn’t bad but not great however the soundtrack was much better then the original.
@@GaOutlawVinyl Oh I thought the whole thing was horrible. But then again I LOVE Grease. I remember when I was a kid me and my sister would put it on and we had all the lyrics to the songs in the book you got in the front of the dvd (20 year special) so we would read it and sing along. When we had learnt them by heart we would sing and dance round the living room putting on shows for the family 😂

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines without a doubt.
Too much bad comedy, a well past it Arnold and just a generally lacklustre film meant it could never compare to the first two films.
If we're talking Terminator movies I'd gladly take Rise of the Machines over Genesis anyday.
TheBitchInBlack I feel you on that but I had high hopes for Rise of the Machines after T2 Judgement Day being so great and such a long wait. I didn’t have high expectations for Genisys because the series had already declined by then.
Out of the sequels after 2, Salvation was the closet to another Terminator film but was ultimately flawed in its execution.
Also killing off Linda Hamilton off screen!
Maybe she wasn't really dead and faked her death and was in hiding in a bunker

The Last Jedi murder my excitement for future Star Wars movies
Ash you broke my soul! I actually like AvPR. ... I know, no one else does 😔
It’s ok that you didn’t like the last Jedi. However I would agree to disagree. It really worked for me. The highs far foreshadowed the lows. It’s definitely in my top 5
And I have seen Star Wars only 2-3 years ago(I’m only 18) and I really liked Luke’s character arch. In the return of the Jedi also he was in anger and attacked Vader for just a brief second
And he did the same in the last Jedi
It worked for me. I know it didn’t work for you and I respect that🤗

Heh there! leave Hell raiser out of this.
The fact they even made a sequel to Sicario made me mad. The fact it didn't even involve Denis Villenueve made me furious. Screw that movie for even existing and missing the point of what made the first one good.

Terminator 3 was more of a mediocre film than it was an offensively bad one. Like it just left me indifferent to its existence rather than totally broken by what it contributed to the Terminator brand name.

The Chronicles of Riddick
@@noobikenoobi5580
Two questions:
1. Why on Earth do you want a "next Palpatine?" Why can't we have something that isn't copied and pasted?
And
2. Where in TFA is he set up to be the "next Palpatine?" And please don't answer with "because he sits on a chair and talks to the lightsaber man with authority"
He was absolutely NOT set up to be Palpatine himself.
"No homo".
The lady doth protest too much
*Spot On* critique of the problems with "The Last Jedi"!
