JD should organize a Trump rally for that day and invite the whole state. This is disgraceful. This council woman is ridiculous. Shame on Biden for not providing emergency funds and aid to the people of East Palestine.
He isnt there for support! Only there for photo op & ability to add to his resume. His security team will disrupt your lives & he wont take questions. Anyone who heckles him will be put aside & questioned. No one should attend including Mayor. Tell the Secret Service to go🖕 off🫡
I'm sure he'll say that he went to school at Ohio State. (Top honors) And his son Bo was buried in East Palestine after being killed in the battle of Fallujah.
As a fellow buckeye first i thought was didn't that happen over a year ago. Oh yeah, Ohio is a swing state, can't be political... FJB go DJT 2024, yeah how long did it take a REAL president to go there 🥺😆😙
Of course this was a preventable derailment - it would have been either prevented or at the very least much less damaging, had the train been equipped with electronic pneumatic brakes, as was required. Or rather, as *had been* required before railroad lobbyists "convinced" Trump to roll back the safety regulations. 🤦♂
You don't know what you're talking about. I'll start with this. You don't understand the needs or mechanisms for improved public safety when it comes to infrastructure and transportation. Those electronic controlled pneumatic brakes would absolutely not have prevented this derailment for a whole host of reasons. If you had read the Fixing Americas Surface Transportation (FAST) Act you'd know this. ECP brakes under the Act were to be installed on DOT 117 tankers for trains containing 15 or more of them. The Norfolk Southern train had zero of them. The legislation called for $305B to be spent over 2016 to 2020 without any actual improvements in infrastructure. It was a waste of money and had a negative impact on industry. Plain and simple it was over regulation and over spending. Typical of Democrats. Trump cut the program in 2018 saving billions and refocused that money into the budget. The FAST Act only called on assessing the effectiveness of those brakes where trains were concerned anyways. Not mandating them. Ask yourself this. If that legislation was so important, why hadn't the Democrats reintroduced a bill after it was repealed or since? Especially when they controlled the legislature and executive branches? Going back to how you don't understand the needs to improve public safety... Those ECP brakes are able to be hacked into remotely. In the realm of cyber security, that can cause a real negative impact on public safety and the economy. Trump recognizes those threats and factors them into national policies and The National Strategy. Things that I read as a course of understanding my job better. This is all open source and easily researched. Then again, something tells me that you don't read much or have a vested interest in the security of this nation.
@@mattmarzula Turns out you are right about this: the ECP brake requirement that Trump repealed would not have applied to the train in East Palestine because it consisted of older tankers carrying contents that weren't deemed hazardous enough to merit using newer cars... I personally wouldn't call this overregulation but then again, something tells me you might not be impartial. Never heard of brake hacking concerns and cannot speak to their credibility. I can, however, point to dozens of examples where we've progressed beyond 19-century technology without grave implications for national security.
Why doesn't anyone know that JD Vance has voted to delay the railroad safety regulations after this accident? You'll be able to look it up yourself. These safety regulations won't take effect until 2027/2028. So, does he care about the safety of citizens or the money from his big railroad donors? You decide.

Did Bush wait a year to visit the 9/11 site.
What is he going there for? A little late, I'd say. Anything he does is worthless,
That lady is wrong. Do not vote for her again. She’s misguided
