Right now, I'm taking Burrow. Lamar has not made good decisions over the last few games and when all is said and done, the quarterback is a mental position as much as it is a physical one. Lamar literally SURVIVES off of his athleticism. He is a freak, but I'm trusting Burrow with the ball to make a must have throw. Whether it be a third down or a touchdown. Burrow hasn't played NEARLY as many games as Lamar and seems to handle the football better more consistently. Burrow gets pressured, he doesn't let go of the ball, he gets sacked. Lamar gets pressured and he rolls out of the pocket and throws a pick. This isn't a new thing. He has done this multiple times. Bills vs Ravens 2 years ago in the playoffs is a great example. All credit to Lamar. He is a freak athlete. An anomaly. But he needs to play smarter football.
@@seanrichards4316 Never said he hasn't, but Lamar makes them at worse times. Show me a game where on a game winning drive Burrow threw a pick and that's what seals the game? Now show me it happen in the playoffs.
@@malixx___2851 He didn't miss. He was sacked by arguably the greatest defensive player of all time on one of the biggest defensive plays of all time. Also, he has thrown only one pick after week one lmao. Every player has bad games. Joe just doesn't have them when they matter. Lamar seems to almost always have them when they matter.
I don’t see the argument for why burrow is better than Lamar. If you want to bring up the Super Bowl run burrow hasn’t really had any good playoff performances. Bills Bengles was his best playoff performance. As far as individual awards burrow has none while having the best wr core in the league. Lamar has one a unanimous mvp + lead the mvp race multiple season in a row. Honestly if Lamar never got hurts in 2021 there was a good chance he was winning that one.

@@Debo78816 13 actually. The week before they threw it 14 times and beat the 49ers 28-14. Mariotta was NFC player of the week. So what’s your point? Jimmy G threw the same amount of passes as Burrow almost 41-42 but only had 296 yards 2 TDs and 2 INTs. Burrow became the first player in NFL history to have 500 total yards and 4 TDs twice. So it’s kind of impressive since no one in the history of the NFL has done that. Just Burrow. Dudes a beast.
Lamar Jackson does end-of-game Lamar things and chokes. Burrow doesn't. People keep using Lamar's MVP as an excuse or, "he's never had receivers." It's such BS because who's he throwing the TDs to? Lamar can't manage the game. He's a great athlete and that's what apologists are drawn to. He's not a game manager because when the defensive read breaks down, he turns into a running back. This year alone he has 5 INTS to 2TDs in the 4th qtr AND the team is healthy so, we can squash the injury excuse from last year, too.
Lamar has been bad in the second half of games since week 4 but his defense has been awful in every second half outside of week 1. I hate the comparison cuz while Lamar has been bad his defense has been worse, while cincy defense has actually been outstanding all year
Nah this crazy bro 😂 burrow threw what 4 int in the first game but we excuse it like is that what an elite quarterback looks like and he didn’t play good against the ravens and no one mentions this. Wow I actually agree with Joel M he legit said a legit fact. Lamar fan boys never let Lamar take accountability. If it’s joe burrows doing good it’s what’s around him. But Lamar didn’t put any points in the board in a 4th quarter melt against the dolphins. I get the defense messed up but why can’t you manage to keep the points up.
Yea I felt the same way after the Miami game. I think it could be Lamar is just inconsistent. There is an airing it out with Housh and Scandrick clip, where Houshmanzedah is hosting and Jordan Palmer is the guest, and Palmer explains how Lamar's mechanics are inconsistent and I kinda feel that happens through out the game for him. But as for the Joe Burrow vs Lamar comparison, this season Burrow has 339 more passing yards on 67% completion (vs. Lamar's 62%), and 41 more passing attempts than Lamar. Lamar has 341 more rushing yards on 29 more rushing attempts than Burrow. Both have the same 7.1 yds/att and the Bengals have a total of 951 yac vs Ravens 541 yac, that basically says Lamar has made more deeper passes than Burrow. I'd say the QB comparison is a draw.

Elite WRs don’t wanna play In Baltimore.
They do not want to block in a run-first offense.
