In Tagalog, Hubad does mean Naked. Yet in the Filipino Martial Arts, teachers (systems/methods) tend to take common terms and use them in a slightly different context to suit their martial practice. My first two teachers preferred to used the Visayan language terms: Hubad as the common name for “Higot Hubad Lubad.” English translation: “to tie and untie while blending.” Now I'm told that "Hubud Lubud" is possible the more politically correct usage. For this video I decided to pay respect to my early teachings.... Having said that, I've often considered changing the spelling on this video :-)

PTK is one of my influences, but this is mainly Inosanto/LaCoste method.
