Man idk why but I just came across y’all’s videos. I’ve been subscribed for a while but the algorithm sucks. Caleb seems like a nice guy and refreshing compared to other tech UA-camrs. No bs straight to the point and the awkwardness is funny. Keep it up
Gerber 800 legend is BY FAR the best "multi tool" I've found. As a hunter, builder, fisher mechanic (as needed) and sport shooter, I''ve had a, 800 on my belt since they came out and the warantee is GREAT! I broke a piece off of one (my fault) and gave it to a buddy, he sent it in and got a new one... who knew? It was OLD and VERY well used up, I just assumed I'd buy another. Kudos to the company, but I didn't expect it after what I put that tool through. But, short story, I've had EVERY "multitool" and the 800 is worth every penny.
I may be incorrect, but, on my stock I only release the bottom "pad catches" and slide the pad up to remove it from the stock end. Am I missing something?
Nice job, Caleb. I would say lose the folksy music at the beginning. You do a Great job. Great color on the AR, which you talked about in a previous video. Kudos from Johnston Iowa
So it’s basically for people who don’t stake their castle nut, have a specific scope mount, and don’t want to mortar their rifle. You’re only using it for the bolt override. And that’s a comparatively pricey bit of metal for that singular task.
Lol no your canceled not is not just going to come undone because it's not good state I've been doing this for many many years never had a castle nut that I installed a couple loose

You don’t need to mess with the top latches on the buttpad, just squeeze the bottom two and pull the buttpad away from the stock
Ah... so no struggle bus
Can confirm both the regular and the SOPMOD you can pinch the bottom tabs and just pull down. Caleb didn’t know so hopefully he pins your comment
I've had my Radical Firearms RF-15 for 3+ yrs, Love the B5 furniture but never knew this! Ordered tool from B5 today, nice and handy.👍
Love these videos!

Finally, there is a reason to get a B5 stock.
Exactly
Storing cleaning rods and batteries has always been a good reason for a SOPMOD
@@poolee77 that is what your pack is for.
@@SA-xf1eb I like the idea of having everything I need to clean my rifle… on my rifle, as a recovering SLR-104 owner.
@@SA-xf1eb and if you’re going to keep everything else in your pack, might as well keep this tool there too lol
Need to snag one of these. Have a number of B5 stocks….didn’t realize they were already set up for these.
Seems kinda small! But I do wish someone would make more multi-tools that fit into grip and stock compartments!

No, he made a mistake
If you use that to tighten your castle nut, you'll definitely need to use it again soon.
People who carry this tool and have properly staked castle nuts probably overlap. It’s for emergency tightening if somehow it comes loose.

Yes Caleb, math is hard!

Everyone drink a shot for every time he says buttpad😂 should make the rest of the video great!

Stake it!
@@brownells do not stake it, if you want it steak get a ratcheting castle nut there's a couple good ones out there
Soooooo totally useless tool. Thanks
Yay! 1st like! Go Caleb!
