I think that it's just a texture, not rtx. The reflection of rabbit's eye and elk's one is pretty similar. Still, I can't blame them for not making ray-tracing on the eyes of animals. Who does need this anyway?
Not all shotguns, and in game you can get your shotguns modified to have rifling. In real life some shotguns have rifling which is done to improve accuracy with slugs and can actually effect pellet patterns as well.
@@IsaacPhillips-r4xto specify, doing so basically makes a shotgun only really useful with slugs as the pellets from any other ammo tend to not be as effective. The in game mod never seemed useful enough to warrant using for myself because it decreases spread with all ammo types. I looked up the shotgun and it seems pretty nice. I’m curious if you have an antique or a reproduction? I have two Schofield reproductions by Uberti myself.
Oh and sorry, I was wrong, the shotgun I have looks like the mk9 double barrel but is actually an older type, it may even be unique. I asked my mom about it a few days ago and she said it may have been custom made for my great grandfather specifically. It is really old, it doesn’t work anymore

Shotguns are generally smooth bore if used to fire shot. Rifling would cause the wad to spin, which would scatter the shot and ruin the pattern. Generally, you want an even distribution of pellets impacting the target but spinning the wad creates a donut like distribution with a larger number of impacts on the perimeter and a smaller number of impacts in the center. However, some shotguns are designed to fire slugs and the rifling improves accuracy.
Shotguns are sometimes given rifling and the game itself offers the player this modification. In real life it is usually to get the most out of using slugs.
At this pace, when it's released, we'll be finding out new stuff in GTA 6 until 2099 I believe. The whirlpool and smoke puff lighted by the helmet is insane

It's gonna be amazing. As far as I'm aware, Rockstar is a company that loves to add experimental mechanics or features in their games and if it works out, then they continue to use that mechanic for future games. Like how they added first person in GTAV. It worked out, people loved it, and so they added it to RDR2 at the beginning of development, which made it easier to be implimented better. I'm hoping to see some mechanics and features seen in RDR2 in GTA6. Like the gun cleaning mechanic. Or having your weapons physically on you instead of them being invisible, that way you can use your trunk to put your rifles in. Mostly though I'd like to see a lot more buildings that you can enter. Especially the modern version of homesteads. Imagine that you could pull up to a illegal drug making farm and rob them. GTA6's version of the hogtie rope could be a pair of cuffs. Really hoping for all that

The problem with that is historically the majority of left handed people in the US and Europe were trained to use their right hand by their parents and teachers all the way up to the late 1800s. Relatively speaking left handed people have only been allowed to use their left hand for a short time.
Even in 2018 most AAA game devs didn't give a shit about the product or the consumer. Rockstar is just different and stands out among the rest. Let's hope it stays that way, I'm not holding my breath though.

Thing is, they didn’t need to put the rifling in the shotguns. Most shotguns today are unrifled, so I imagine all of them were unrifled back then.
In game it’s a modification you can get at gunsmiths as I remember. I don’t know if the bore changes between the two though.
