I won't buy the game until it's feature-complete and they've delivered everything they promised or hinted at. At the moment the game looks more like Test Drive Lite than Unlimited. I'm tired of games being released unfinished and only maturing with the customer. I'm being extra strict with this game because Test Drive is one of my absolute favourite franchises.
They should have the bikini carwash lol. Best part of TDU2. Seriously though I agree with you on the garage/house relating to number of owned cars. A thing a lot of racing games are missing currently is that sense of earning your cars and getting richer. Thats one thing tdu did well.
lol that was a funny part of tdu 2. but yea i feel like grinding for the houses and having real garage spaces would've been nice to have but we will still probably get houses later on
I love the idea of adding fuel to the game! Hear me out... If you run out of fuel you can either pay an NPC tow truck to take you to a gas station or request players in your lobby to tow you to a gas station in exchange for a small sum or xp. And refuelling costs a small sum of money every time, that way you think about your in-game economy more... I think that would be a really fun thing to add
yea that would be a very cool idea! if they were to add it i feel like it would just teleport you or you press a button in the menu to refuel if you run out but the tow truck idea would be amazing. its like those timed missions we had in tdu 2 would add more immersion to the game
the fact that they're delayed this game for 2 times, and show whole a lot of pre rendered crap during those years had me thinking that this game spells disaster from the start and the always online requirement and the disastrous open demo firmly confirms it lol
I doubt thats the case. They are trying to make an AAA game with AA budget and it shows. Imo, they are doing a fantastic job for the money they have, but definitely, TDU is not a saga for AA budget
We need sedans man, so far, there's not a single sedan in the game, we must have at least few sport sedans, I've seen people asking for Rolls-Royce and other luxury brands which will be epic, especially if pick-up missions from TDU1 will return.
When I played the demo in June, I enjoyed it for what it was but heard somewhere that it was based on an earlier build. From videos that have been published since then, the physics seem to have been tweaked, but one thing they should fix is the suspension on that traffic model Ford Raptor.
i think its mainly based off where the cars are made. like if the car is made in a country that has left hand drive they will use that model although they did use the 350z instead of the fairlady z which is the Japanese model. to be fair forza did the same thing with the cars relative to the map as well
The progression is a MASSIVE thing for me. I know I want a Koenigsegg Regera and expect that to be an endgame car, unlocking it within a week will just mean that it doesn't feel like an accomplishment. Making it a grind in order to get something really cool is where you feel like you earned it
yeaa trust me some of the cars will take 200+ hours according to devs and i don't mind at all. this doesn't mean all cars will take that long only the supercars I'm assuming but i like to know that its not gonna be something i play for a week and have everything then barley play the game. this will give me a reason to keep playing the game and will feel more rewarding achieving cars
