I cherish this episode. Mouthwatering, and elegantly described Lebanese cuisine. The book should be published as an e-book.

Hello everybody, cooking is one of my hobbies!!!! I agree with Kamal, as he explains the food culture and tradition due to the demographic of the villages, small towns and the urban areas in Lebanon and around the globe. As we live in part of Canada we share these points with Kamal. Thank you Medea and Mouin. Regards from our snowy city Toronto!

Beautiful interview as always - Loved to hear the humble Kamal who brought me back to Akkar and my mother's moujaddara and Kibbeh Nayyeh :) - Can't wait to visit Tawlet Paris
Wonderful episode evoking many childhood memories. I cook more, as I get older, the meals I learned from my Lebanese mother while assisting her in the kitchen including slicing the parsley for tabbouli and not chopping. Does anyone make mujadarra musfeyee? Thank you.
I do!
Thank you again Sardeh for this wonderful episode and as always a great guest and visual setup.

Hey sarde from Aleppo
I watch this episode when I’m eating my kebbeh sandwich 😂😂
Thank you guys for hosting guests like kamal and sharle hayek ❤️❤️
That was my first poem i wrote, Today Kamal is talking about his experience and he summ it in one word, LIFE..
i want to share these words to you and dedicate it to your guest. because he carry these values in his heart.
We come to life ...
Not by our choice..
grow and thrive
Before even any voice...
We learn to speak..
learn to walk..
Then we forget about the clock...
We create worlds that get us locked
In fears, Greed, hate and love..
Disappointment, expectation and more to our brain to shove...
Strong us become... thinking we are imminent...
indestructible and permanent..
Instead of unite we separate...
Before we love we learn to hate..
What kind of world we had create....
Extinctions, distractions..chaos and sanctions..
Is that what become a religions?..
Mohamed, Budha, Jesus and Moses...
They were all sent with a sacred missions?...
They gave their life to pass a lesson.?.
To whom they try ?..
To the Deaf!!!!.. the blind!!!, the mute!! To whom they try?..
Do you know what was the lesson?...
To truly love....(sigh)... with no.... conditions....
Thank you Sarde! Mouin and Medea are so innocent and naive, but it's just so pleasant to listen to them :) probably because they just go with the flow!
Wowww 😍
This (great) episode made me order Lebanese food
Mouthwatering sarde😅🤤
0:00
We want Ziad Rahbani in this show!
my family is from the south, Ain Ebel and they make mujadara with the fried onion and red lentils lol never heard of the yellow one!
🙏🙏🙏
food is a language & the component R the letters as the farmer & the cook are the teacher
intéressant
In the lentils example, you got it totally vice versa!! South Lebanon is KNOWN for the lentils cooked as: burnt onions+burghul+small dark lentils !!
The best ambassador that can be. Our pride.
Made mom listen how to do a good tabbouleh part 😎
Its going to be a mouth drooling episode lol...🤤. going to fix a sandwich..lol.. still have yesterday's left over babaghanouj
Sahtein!!! hahaha
droooooooooling
Make food not war but there needs to be minimum justice minimum rights then humus is Israeli kif zibtat hay?
But all respect to Kamal for his work he has great energy about him!
I love you guys and I really liked this episode
But hommus isn't an Israeli food
👌
👍💝💝
I like a lot what he said, he has a beautiful human soul
Hello. Late to the party as usual... Question, what happened to Chef Ramsey? Wasn't he the "Julia Child" of Lebanon?
Informative episode.. But, is it just me or did he seem a bit rude at some points?
Definitely
This is the first good sarde in a while
Call me crazy but I sensed he was unnecessarily rude to Medea? Like he is sassy and i love it but like no need hal2ad.. but overall it was enjoyable 👏 bravo
Hey Ghida! We’re old friends, and our banter has always been like this! But we get how it can come off as rude, he means well! ♥️
I'm happy that someone is starting to talk about macrobiotic its the right time now and our only choice to survive as humanity
Lek, bi 2oma7 fi taifiye, bs mech ed bil bourghol (c) Chi Fashel by Ziad Rahbani
Love this episode, i enjoyed every minute. But Freekeh is purely Palestinian guys 🇵🇸❤️
Forget Freekeh, did you hear the bit about Himmus being “also Israeli”..
Disappointed that you guys let the comment about Hummus being also “Israeli” in addition to being Palestinian, Lebanese, Egyptian etc. This is disgraceful to say the least. I love Sarde and watch every episode.. but this really came to me as a surprise. Especially you Muin.. I thought you would challenge him on this one. When it comes to Israel and all the theft and atrocities they committed.. every word matters.
I remembered when you had some Palestinian guest. If it's cool to try maybe an online zoom style meeting with Yasmine Hamdan or Maha Yakoub? Maha Yakoub has courses of Arabic and is the 1st Arabic teacher on UA-cam!
Medea is such an amazing listener with good analytical skills
She doesn’t always interrupt to ask basic questions
sorry mouein but ive been watching you guys since you started and im always 1 click away from commenting but then i say “be nice” until its too much man. You dont have to show us that you are confirming the guest’s claim by repeating right after him and your questions dont add any value to the progression of the sarde. Please work on your communication skills and actually listen to the guest to guide him through the convo so that we dont stay here puzzled around the same idea
Take it as a good critique. If you watch again youll understand- as at 20:25 for example. At 27:05 i felt sorry for you then at 55:45 walaw?? After all this episode is about? And 1:00:40 hrisse? Sorry bas ma ka2anak lebanese. At 1:03:00 diplomatic? Like, still ma wosel l jaweb 3al 55:45? And 1:04:04 omg 💆🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ not going to continue the interview (but i did- just for the sake that the topic was very interesting to me)
Why are you trying to labnanet the food?
The Arabic sweet is not mainly Lebanese, as you claimed. The Arabic sweet at first was made by the "Assyrian"
In our days, you can find it in most of the middle eastern countries.
Don’t get me wrong, but the worst Arabic sweet shop in Syria is much better than the best in Lebanon “such as Sea sweet, Hallab&Douaihi”
It’s good to do some marketing for Lebanon but don’t change the facts and history.
