Looks nice and there is a possibility you could find interesting parts of history in that green area -obviously only if you are able to do it safely -Have you ever tried Richy? ✨✨✨✨✨
@James Archard, the green areas are very soft mud & seaweed, it's a tidal area, it was low tide at the time. Several months ago a group of people got stuck waist deep in the mud, there was a major rescue by the RNLI & fire service! The 'hills' in the background are actually artificially formed from rubbish, they are part of the recently capped & landscaped landfill site! That area used to be just flat marshland/wasteland. ***Thanks for watching.***
@@NOWThatsRichy Ok Just an idea any other areas that objects can be found around your area as I think you would be good at discovering treasures and re-purposing them?
@@Wessexmud Yes, there is an area near where I used to live, (back in the 80's) in the south part of the city, that I know would still be good for bottle digging, (it was a tip in the early 1900s). I found a few bottles there when I was a kid, but I've not been to that area for many years, & the site may not be easily accessible anymore, there has been a lot of house building around there in recent years. Next year ( when things are hopefully more back to normal), I'll have to go down there & have an explore to see what's what.

On the left, you can still see the old causeway you had to drive across, to get to Horsea Island. Can almost smell the seaweed.
