    This video reveals the strange continuance of horizontal velocity by parachutists. Note how the patachute's horizontal component of velocity takes a long time to decrease. This is what needlessly kills bailing crew who jump at low altitude. The speed at touchdown is checked to see if the crewma will survive or not. This speed is the total velocity, which decomposes to the vertical and horizontal vectors. If the total speed exceeds 10m/s, no surviving. Even if most of that 10m/s is the horizontal component.
    I have adjusted the deceleration of the ooening parachute so thay both the vertical and horizontal conponents are more sensible. This reduces the unrealistic crew demise that would occur much too long after 'chute deployment.

      Making this game video meant flying many times.
      I'm tired of planes that keep flying even after being hit.
      This time I progressed through the game without using the 20mm machine gun. I think I needed to get hits at close range, but I thought that the escape altitude and speed were "just the way it is in a game."
