Adorable pieces, but I must say the destroyed books...hurts my heart. What about covering the books (since they were hard cover) with wrapping paper or thick white paper. Or even painting the covers rather than tearing the books apart? I guess glueing the books together would still make them unreadable...hmm 🤔 I do love the concept though! ♥️📚
Deborah Steinmetz I just took my book covers off & they were white on the back side. Then I repositioned the jackets back on the books & then tied them up with string. I haven’t decided what words to write yet. Books are still in tack & still readable.

You should do some dollar tree Christmas gifts to hang on the wall. Maybe large ones using the poster board? I think you’d find beautiful ways to do that! Your very creative! ❤️

I love the way you make the bows. They are so cute! It’s the way I have been doing my bows. I think I’m going to just wrap my boxes in burlap. As always your amazing and love your ideas!!

I am so excited to make the joy sled sign! What color is the red spray paint? If I used red chalk paint what color would be similar to the spray paint?
Cut your ribbon on an angle or fold in half and cut on an angle towards the bow. This will give a a 'fishtail' effect. This gives the ribbon a more finished look.
My favorite is the sled! I missed out on these last year, but snatched some up this year. I'm going to use your idea for sure, but will add a metal clip to turn it them into photo holders of my grandgirlies with Santa! Thank you so much for your creativity!!!!!

I did something similar to your first project to go with my fall decor. I wrapped some old deeper frames with burlap and used some fall-motif wire ribbon (& copied your bow instructions!). Really cute projects!! Thanks for doing these videos. If you want more of a weathered wood look, after painting your project with the brown paint, put a layer of vaseline on top (in sections) and let it dry. Then paint the top coat with the white. Everywhere the vaseline is will cause a resist and will look weathered. I'm sure there are videos out there that you can look up to see what it looks like.
