When I entered the first world and realised the Stag King was merely another grain of sand and we played directly into her hands, truth is the game was rigged from the start
Music actually made that boss battle for me. It's so emotional and epic, honestly i wish they used it even more. It is so fire it easily could've been used for some triple a movie
Maybe. These boss themes have to match the tempo of the fight and the tone of what frustrates you in it. Baldur's Gate made its major boss themes apply to the entire stage they were in. Worked quite well with Mulcahey (*swish-swish-swish!* "No! Save me, my Kobolds!") and Sarevok, not so much with Tamoko (applying her theme to random ghouls does not work). So now each boss gets a unique theme.
@@sephelutis Omg thankyou! I thought I was going crazy, cause I swore that lots of other battles had a track similar to this, specifically ones where there was a bagpipe playing the flute part. If the music is different in the extended version, then that makes so much more sense. I was losing my mind trying to find the bagpipe version of this online.
This game is a buggy mess even after many patches, but it was fun, interesting, and had great production values, especially the music and voice acting.
True, I still haven't finished it. Got stuck at act three with endless barbarian raids that ruin my kingdom. Turns out I bugged the game out because I didn't talk to an NPC at the end of act 2 ;v And no save to go back to a reasonable time period. Ugh

Same! That boss theme is what hooked me on the game. Soundtrack was kind of a letdown from there on, by comparison. Still a great game though
What boss battle?
@@mysterio952 Stag Lord.
Dota
the best version of that theme.
the enhanced version have so many variants of this, but the original is still my favourite.

As good as Baldur's Gate 2 battle themes. Awesome.

I never had bugs except from a few visual ones, guess I was just really lucky. I might have also played on another patch or something.

@@candemirayak8981 you played on a more recent patch. I'm playing the game right now and encountered only minor graphical bugs.
Beat the game 4 times, no major glitches other than the stupid slow down.
I've got all the way past Armag the Twiceborn and Stag Lord still ranks as the toughest boss I've encountered.
It's because he has a bunch of powerful lackeys around, most of the bosses after him are basically alone or have useless minions with them.
Hargulka and Tartuuk were the toughest for me. Hasted troll with fighter levels fucking demolished my party.

Any chance you could do a looped version of Capitol Under Attack?

The original was far too short for that boss fight. Especially playing turn based.
You mean the soundtrack ended? Pretty sure you can go into the audio settings and have the OST's loop.
