the wooden insert in the bottom of the posts does nothing. Also the bottom rails are made so thin that they decided to install a steel insert to "make it stronger" . Go see that insert, it does not support even a 10 pound weight. But you can buy good strong rails. The sections did not have "picket channels", which attach the pickets to the post(any good pvc has them)

2 issues: It works better if you fill the post hole with cement to the TOP, then position the post. Also, the cement helps STOP the grass from growing around the post so it will be easier to trim grass with a weed eater without hitting the post with the blades or string.

Was even looking for this brand because of the top long cap along the top of panel and the bar that slides into the bottom of panel to keep it secure and won't sag

Sadly it can be necessary in certain areas, simply because of the wind. Unless you port a full privacy fence with enough holes, a good constant gusts will tear it down. These allow the wind to pass through which is convenient for many that experience hurricane and tornado level storms.
That said I went through the extra effort to fabricate the previously mentioned ports in my fence, and have a gate that can latch shut to cover them. Just requires going out in the storm to open them all which is a pain in the rear.

Concrte isnt needed, and if you do, put it in the hole first and allow to dry, then level the post and fill with dirt, then set the vinyl , the reason for this is that the ground will shift , and if you can move the post you can have a straight fence again

3 days to complete that? My crew of 3 and myself would of finished that in approximately 8-10 hours. I hope those holes are 36”-42” Roger looked a bit sluggish there with his diggers.

Nice work love these vids. That would be a $7000.00+ USD job where I live in the NY metro burbs. What brand of fence was used. My contractor used the cheaper stuff in the comparison.

If the old wooden fence was on the property line and they installed the new fence in its spot why did they take it down? They made it sound that because it was on the property line they had to take it down

These fences look nice...for a while, but inevitably they sag and warp. Do not even bother with them if you live in a hot summer area.

Why not use fast-setting concrete? That looks like a mix from a 60 or 80lb bag of quikrete or similar.

Where's the step where you ensure the first two gate posts are the exact same height? A 30" hole with a couple shovels of concrete in the bottom before inserting the post is not an accurate measurement ensuring uniformity.

My only problem with this video is that the privacy fence is already up. This "privacy fence" is a waist high gate. Not very private when anyone over five foot can see over the top of it.

It's not really helpful to point out how much better the quality of the panels used for this installation is compared to the other you showed if you don't tell us what brand you used.
